It looks like Barack Obama has secured a major endorsement from the powerful pet lobby. "Yes We Can Has" is a lolcat blog that recently launched to help support Senator Obama's campaign for the presidency.

He could definitely use a few more good dogs on board though!
2 here! But they're not registered to vote - yet..
Maruska cocks an ear and scratches vigorously with her back leg when she hears Obama speaking.
And Urias [Uriah] completely ignores his food when we give him the "same old" - at least for a few hours till he gets desperate.
But when we call "something new, for a CHANGE"! he falls down the stairs to get to it..

Funny since he doesn't do very well on animal welfare and wildlife issues. More uniformed supporters going against their own best interest........

I can visualize Obama with a lion's mane and whiskers and his wife is kind of catty. However Hillary is a bit catty too and has that cat-like grin at times. I have heard that when Obama enters a room with cats and dogs they all hiss and bark/snarl at him and seem very nervous about his presence. Chihuahas like to nip at his heels before he kicks them aside.
