  Ouch, there goes $2.2 billion of tax payer money. good thing the pilots made it out ok though.

    I think your number may be a little high

    LOL but in Washington $1 billion is just chump change

      Each Stealth bomber actually has cost us anywhere from $737 million to $2.2 billion according to Wikipedia. the $1.2 billion figure you stated was for what they cost us in 1998 for instance. And according to cnn back in 1999, the fleet of 21 B2's cost us $44 billion overall.

    That's what I was thinking!.. Just how do they know it crashed? Are they taking the pilots word for it or has anyone really seen it after the crash? Inquiring minds, conspiracy theorists, and UFO hunters want to know. :0)
