Great article BoBo! Gaza is indeed a heartbreaking situation.
A few months ago I read Queen Noor's "Leap of Faith: Memoirs of an Unexpected Life". I thoroughly enjoyed her account, perspective and observations of "that part of the world". Included in her story was Jordan's dealing with the Palestinians and the radical leadership of the time period. Their tiny part is a sad tale indeed. The suffering their former "leadership" has imposed on the citizenry and the surrounding countries is ridiculous and shameful!

This is evidence of what is probably the greatest threat to peace - the misguided and undeserved sympathy of decent people.
The Arabs chose their leaders and their path. They deserve what they get.

Of course Queen Noor and her husband Abuddullah will always support the Zionist agenda because they get billion dollars from Zionist. In fact the aid the American provide to Egypt and Jordan is noting but bribe to keep the Israel alive. In fact Gazans the Palestinians have no other option but to blow themselves up by blowing Israel. The Zionists will one day pay for their crimes in full, that day wont be too far away.
Check this out, the Zionist agenda won't be successful in the end they will be kicked out like, like the Vietnamese kicked out the Americans:

It is worse than sad that people might think like Daylight. It sounds like hell on earth. I am not saying suicide bombers are legitimate. Matter of fact, I used to hunt human bombs in that miserable place called Gaza strip.
I also saw Israelis living well on stolen land, while us poor soldiers barely ate enough to live.
But it is impossible to advocate an Israeli withdrawal trom the territories as long as suicide bombers keep emerging from their crypts to revel in blood and murder.
What kind of religion is that?
Already, Iraquis are suicide bombing each other, killing each other. Arabs are not showing their good side, if there is one.
Palestinians are proving to be bad neighbors, lacking in faith and honor. It is like a spectacle, to see who is worse than the worst, who can sink the lowest.

The biggest problem is that Islam has this split personality. The vast majority do not ascribe to this hate but it is supported in their religious writings. It has been a part of Islam from the beginning. Terrorists point back to the example of Muhammad in his treatment of Jews, Christians, and others. I had friends that moved back to Morocco and they are very nice people. I have met Muslims in Israel that live in amongst the Jews with no problem. The Palestinians chose to keep separate and go the path of hatred.
Daylight keeps forgetting why Jordan and Egypt have the relationship the have with Israel. They were talked into one too many wars with Israel. They lost every time. They figure peace is better than their soldiers dying for nothing.

"The vast majority do not ascribe to this hate "
Do you have any facts to back up this unsubstantiated conclusion?
"I had friends that moved back to Morocco and they are very nice people. "
Because they were not in a position of control. If they're so nice, what did they do to stop their co-religionists who are violent?
"I have met Muslims in Israel that live in amongst the Jews with no problem. "
The foot is on the throat of these Muslims, isn't it?
"Daylight keeps forgetting why Jordan and Egypt have the relationship the have with Israel. "
Evidently, you have forgotten that Jordan and Egypt got back tangible assets in return for empty promises. Has Egypt fulfilled any of their treaty obligations, e.g., eliminate government-sponsored anti-Semetism?

Yep those pals need to stop hating and realize that G-d's chosen people have a right the land they live on. Certainly they need to stop teaching their children to resent the people that have taken their homes and land realize that are less then human and be content to starve as the chosen ones keep food, fuel and medicine out. Besides, since they are all a bunch of islamo-fascists anyways they deserve to die unless they learn to accept their lot in life.

Because they never took their homes or land.
"realize that are less then human and be content to starve as the chosen ones keep food, fuel and medicine out. "
If you're a terrorist, or support terrorism, you're absolutely right.
"Besides, since they are all a bunch of islamo-fascists anyways they deserve to die unless they learn to accept their lot in life."
When they accept that others have a right to live, then their "lot in life" will change.

Yep BoBo you're right. How can anyone debate with your statistics proving that the pals all want to make their make their kids into suicide bombers? Obviously it's far better to starve those potential suicide bombers to death and free up that real estate for G-d's chosen rather then the sub-human islamofascists. Such a position is so much more humane and moral that I can see you must be a real Christian unlike those whiny libs that think UN resolutions matter when it comes to stopping terrorism. Clearly G-d's chosen would never promote hate and i'll prove it here: http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/palestinians....

I'm still waiting for a huge outpouring of damnation from the Islamic world regarding their abhorrence of the actions taken by Islamofacists and jihadists. Until then I just have to conclude that the religion of peace is not peaceful and most muslins support the radical factions.

WWJD?
I'm pretty sure not kill 600,000 innocent Iraqis on a whim.

BTW, Candida - since you're so concerned about hateful statements, why no response to Daylight or Bovver? Because the only hate you're concerned about is hatred against those who murder Jews. Those who badmouth Jews are not haters in your book, are they?

What interesting logic you've demonstrated Cherev. The pals are sub human because they use violence against those that have taken their homes and land while the Israelis that have used violence taking that land and starving the dispossessed are morally superior. I suppose you also think that the Chinese were sub-human when they fought against the Japanese in the '30s and '40s and the Iraqis are sub-human these days for resisting America's noble war for democracy. I would suppose that those who are less then human have no rights so murdering and torturing them is acceptable to you. It would stand to reason that those who defend or appease those whom you view as terrorists (and hence sub-human) should be treated as terrorists?

I said terrorists and those who support them. Must you always twist words to make your point?
"the Israelis that have used violence taking that land and starving the dispossessed are morally superior. "
Because that didn't happen.
"It would stand to reason that those who defend or appease those whom you view as terrorists (and hence sub-human) should be treated as terrorists?"
Yes, they should. If you stood with the Nazis, you should be considered a Nazi. If you stand with the terrorists, you are no better than they are.

By the way, if the Israelis did what you said, why are there more hospitals and schools now, than when the Jordanians and Egyptians controlled the territories? Why is there a higher standard of living? Why is the infant mortality rate lower? Why is there a longer life expectancy?
The truth is that the Israelis have treated the Arabs as human. That includes terrorists and those who support terrorism.

I have a personal story to tell which may or may not relate to this story but I feel it does. Last spring I bought a bull who was a monster of an animal but had a good attitude, I could walk around him and he ignored me completely, then on day I gave him a smack as I walked by him and he tried to kick me, I thought it was funny so I smacked him again and he tried to kick me again, so began a game. Last week when I smacked him he kicked me and made contact so I went home looking for sympathy from my wife who showed me no sympathy for being so stupid.
This to me is sort of like the situation regarding Isreal and the Palestinians, Israel exsists and has made their intentions clear just as the bull did, if you make life difficult for the bull the bull will strike back. I view the situation with a different light now and realize that if the Palestinians do not accept Israel they do become their own enemy.

Yep Cherev you've shown that the Israel has the same boarders they've had for 100's of years ( proof here http://www.ifamericansonlyknew.com/history/maps... ) and obviously no apartheid like wall exists in Palestine, nor are the pales being collectively punished via a blockade of food, medicine and fuel (proof here http://polizeros.com/2008/01/21/gaza-blockade/ ). Clearly no pal ever had his land taken from him so they have no reason at all to resort to violence so any of them that do are terrorists and any pal that appeases or supports them are terrorists/sub-humans as well. Of course they couldn't have done that because that would have been attacking defenseless civilians and you've shown that only the pals do that and besides, if starving civilians to death is nazi like (another group of sub humans in your mind) then they'd have no rights and be fit to be tortured and killed. Wow, how could anyone fault your thinking?

By the way, "proof" from propoganda sites is hardly convincing.
It seems that you're only interested in providing propoganda, rather than have a dialog. So have fun with that.
Oh, and lookie here: muhairi8, who said, "this is the time were we need to forget our differences and find out a better way to live together in peace." gave a pos to this comment. This is the Muslim way of "peace" that he advocates.

Israel's government tries to expand their settlements. Israel channels most of the water that flows in the rivers in the region (like the Litani river) to Israel, so the Palestinians are left with very little water. The IDF humiliates all Palestinians (including women and children) who want to cross over the checkpoints & at the Gaza strip 24/7.
Hamas trains sucide bombers.
The UN sits by & watches. Our government supports Israel. People on both sides continue to die.

Thanks for adding a little balance to the story. You would think the Israeli's have behaved as angels. And don't forget they plowed up the olive groves of the Palestinians to snuff out their ability to to make money on crops because of fear that the money would be used for terrorist funding. Cut off the body to kill the head. A miserable situation for which we as Americans share the blame.

( www.presst... ). Besides, it's not like the blockade will kill anyone other then a terrorists
( http://www.uruknet.de/?p=m41308&hd=&size=1&l=e ) and since all the pals are Muslims why should Christians care what happens in Gaza anyway right?
http://desertpeace.wordpress.com/2008/02/12/chr...
Clearly no sensible person can object to the notion that the pals problems stem from them being hateful terrorist teaching their own children to all be suicide bombers like BoBo said.

Another brilliant response from cherev! He doesn't like what the links I post say so they must be propaganda. My, with a mind that keen a top flight job in the custodial industry is almost within his grasp. I especially loved his detailed analysis of why anything I posted was factually wrong which is what i've come to respect from his carefully constructed logic he's displayed so far.

Why BoBo that is so insightful that I am in awe of your flawless grasp of reasoned debate strategy! A relatively wealthy person from Gaza is shocked that poverty exists in Egypt. We will overlook the little fact that the article you cited mentions that Gazans typically exist on $2 a day and that the comments of the shop owner aren't representative. I guess you've shown the world that the Israelis really do treat the pals just splendidly. Clearly no one will ever doubt you again!

Your carefully balanced presentation of the issue is: "Murder... then flowers and candy to celebrate the murders... then praise Allah for the murders. That about sums up the situation for now and the future." That is pretty much the be all and end all of the subject. Certainly those murderous islamo-fascists haven't any reason whatsoever to resort violence. No other conclusion can be reached after seeing your well supported research when one notes that the other side has presented nothing whatsoever to refute your missive.

"Certainly those murderous islamofascists haven't any reason whatsoever to resort violence. "
Certainly they do, for according to the Islamic religion you have several presidents for violence with prejudice, many which are outlined by Mohammed himself in this link;
http://answering-islam.org.uk/BehindVeil/btv2.html
If I understand the analysis in the link correctly, it is culturally preferable for a Muslim warrior to physically die fighting(I guess suicide bombing in the name of Allah is a legit way to wage war)and or subjugating the infidel, which I think the film demonstrated. The people in the film did seem happy about the bombings.
As for driving out the Zionist terrorists and their US lackeys, I find it interesting that none of the legit Arab states have come to the aid militarily of the Palestinian cause and people in either 30 or 40 years. Thus leaving them, the Palestinians, to the mercy of the Israeli political machine and military.
Why would that be?

During the presidency of Reagan it was observed that a "moderate Muslim" was the Muslim that had no bullets left.
The attacks of the Sunni and Shiite populations in the marketplace, at worship, at the schools, by other Sunnis and Shiites show the disdain they have for human life. Of course they have been taught that anyone outside of their immediate circle is not human.

So the religious preferences of the immediate family dictates who is or is not an enemy.
Interesting. So is social cohesion always questionable because of inter-societal religious differences over the same religion?
Well I would love to stay and chat but I have to run and go to work.

I believe it was Golda Meir who once said "There will finally be peace when the Arabs love their own children more than they hate our children".
The culture of Hamas in Gaza (and Hezbollah in Lebanon) is so riddled with hate, that they can never accept anything other than Israel's complete destruction.
I don't see how you make peace with such a mentality; and I don't know how long Israel will continue to show restraint and keep taking it and taking it. Israel certainly has the overwhelming might to take back Gaza again if she wanted to...
Israel tried withdrawal, and all they got in return was thousands of rockets lobbed at their civilians.

Hamas is riddled with hate. The IDF is riddled with an equal amount of hate. The only difference is the IDF have more money & more power then Hamas has.
Personally, I got big problems with the checkpoints & the way the IDF humiliates people wanting to pass through. The fact that Israel channels most of the water that flows in the rivers in the region into Israel, which leaves much less water for the Palestinians to survive on, bugs me to. I also have a big problem with our government supporting Israel in this battle over land, religion & egos. It's not our fight, it's none of our business. Our money, our weapons should not be going to Israel.
Oh, & I'm neither a Muslim nor a Jew.
