How to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict »

Posted by: expursuit 1 year, 10 months ago

When Israeli-Palestinian permanent status negotiations resume, a key stumbling block is likely to be the Palestinian refugee question. The plight of the refugees and the demand that their right of return be recognised has been central to the Palestinian struggle since the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Palestinians warn that a dissatisfied, angry refugee c

I wonder, Israel is only one percent of one-sixth of the land in the Middle East. If the Arabs are so bent upon giving land to the refuges, why doesn't Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon step in.

After all America is the country that is behind Israel's strength, so they can give part of America or ask the German to give them part of Germany. This problem cannot be solved because the European Zionists were brought into the Arab land with the intention of controlling the region and to keep the middle East in tension all the time, that will help the armament industries and the corrupted American oil companies. Whether anyone want to wiping off Israel or not the Israel will be wiped off through the passage of time. People who talk about the Israel's right to live also should realize that the millions of Palestinians who have been made refugees, have the bigger right to return to wherever they lived. continues

One way to NOT solve it is by having Palestinian Muslim youth brain-washed with evil, hate-filled crap like THIS:

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2J3my3pOIc

Another, is by taking out Quran 9:1-5 and 9:29 for starters.

Oh, by the way, IF you see the video I posted, you'll notice that the evil Israeli agent is a BLACK man! How will young Palestinians view our next President?

There's enough blame to go around for all the governments involved. Palestinians need to recognize Israel's right to exist just as much as the militant Israeli faction needs to accept the Palestinian's rights, as well. As long as the Palestinians choose to have a terrorist organization, Hamas, who is dedicated to destroying Israel, there will be no peace.

          > Palestinian polls consistently show that Palestinians want peace for their people and that they are willing to coexist with Israelis.

In this case, Palestinians should elect leadership reflecting their wills, namely a leadership that will stop attacks against Israel and Israelis and will ask for peace negotiations.

During and after WWII Millions of refugees came to the US, Canada, Australia and other countries from the destroyed Europe. If someone said today that all these people as well as their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren should be stripped of their citizenship and sent back to Germany, Poland or Hungary such a person would be considered an insane racist mad Nazi. The very same behavior and arguments, however, are considered normal and expected regarding Arab states and Arab people.

                > The land and property seized by the communists in East Germany in 1949 has now been returned to its original owners by German courts over the past 10 plus years.

                > The zionists should do the same. After all, israelis are at least as moral as germans aren't they?

Of course. This is the reason I've (repeatedly) said that each and every person (Palestinian or otherwise) who lost his/her property to Israel had the right and is encouraged to bring his/her case to the Israeli Court and demand compensation. Some people did just that.

There are two things that need to be removed, absolutely. Then all will be as Heaven on Earth.

Israel: Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.

                  Palestine: Vendetta.

Those evil racist Jews don't make up the entirity of the population of Israel. They do not exterminate Arabs living there and those Arabs living there have one vote, one person, just as the Jews enjoy. The Palestinians need to for once get on with their lives, face the facts and work to make their lands better places to live. They would have had more lands to call their own had their beloved Arafat had enough sense to recognize a good deal when he had one. Unfortunately he didn't see what a good deal it was until it was too late. As for other Arab nations, they could help out their Palestinian brothers and sisters. They have plenty of land and resources. They could help them reclaim desert lands, just as the Israelis have done, and make them productive farms and ranches.

The answer to the question at the top of this page (How to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?) is pretty simple:

The only reason there is no peace yet is the refusal of the Palestinian Arabs to negotiate peace. This means that the only way to resolve the conflict is to MAKE THEM BEG FOR PEACE.

Only when the Palestinians will genuinely be willing to achieve peace will peace become possible. It's that simple.

Here is a very recent example of the insanity represented by Israel.

Ramallah, 28/02/2008. An Israeli airstrike aimed at the ministry of interior building in Gaza City also destroyed the nearby Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS) head office in Gaza and killed a 5-month-old baby in a residential building in the same area.

Collateral damage? Here, friend. Read the full story. http://www.palestinemonitor.org/spip/spip.php?a...

This tit-for-tat response from Israel typifies the child-like nature of the government there. It has nothing to do with trying to secure a peace but rather to continue demonstrating its military dominance in the situation. There lies a complete inability to really put a concrete plan for ending this petulent behaviour. BTW - You really must try to visit news sites that explain the 'other side of the story'. One-sided biased reporting is the bane of truth.
