Scientists Unveil Online "Encyclopedia of Life" »

The first 30,000 pages of the online Encyclopedia of Life were unveiled on Tuesday during the Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) Conference in Monterey, California. It will eventually house a page for each of the 1.8 million known species on the planet.
