STONERS
Feb. 28, 2008, 11:10 a.m."We'll see the effects of this pro-growth package," Bush told reporters at a White House news conference. "I know there's a lot of, here in Washington people are trying to stimulus package two and all that stuff. Why don't we let stimulus package one, which seemed like a good idea at the time, have a chance to kick in?"
"Bush's view of the economy was decidedly rosier than that of many economists, who say the country is nearing recession territory or may already be there."

Feb. 28, 2008, 11:26 a.m.Everyone is supposed to believe it JUST because Bush 'says' it??
He lies all the time - nothing he says is either grammatically correct or true.
Bush and his administration are shameless and pompous and evil ...

Feb. 28, 2008, 2:54 p.m.Is there any limit to this man's arrogance and stupidity?
Oh wait, I guess the oil companies and defense contractors aren't in a recession. Just the rest of us.

Feb. 29, 2008, 12:11 a.m.Bush is not in a recession. The rest of the country may be, but that's okay.
As the repugs say "were lucky we haven't been attacked."
Why do I feel like somehow the repugs might be trying to tell us "shut up or we'll make something happen."
Who's the real terror and fear players?

Feb. 29, 2008, 2:11 a.m.Man, I wish I could live in Bush's America, don't you? I guess you have to drink non-stop for 21 years like he did to become a member... but, man... it would be great.

Feb. 29, 2008, 6:31 a.m.Yeah, there is no recession for him and dick. Their profits from Iraq, paid in blood, will float their families for a long, long time. Meanwhile it's okay if the rest of us work for McDonalds. In bush's utopia, as long as McDonalds is hiring, the economy is fine.

Feb. 29, 2008, 6:34 a.m.And with the rate that the jobs are leaving this country, McDonalds may be the only place left to work. Let's all practice for our new jobs..."would you like that supersized?"

Feb. 29, 2008, 7:54 a.m.For people getting $1200 check from China, it will pay their credit card debt built up filling their gas tanks or pay their one month mortgage.
For those getting $300 check from China, it will pay for a month's worth of gas for their cars.
If this will stimulate a crumbling economy heading in to a recession after 7 years of having an idiot and crook in charge, it will be a miracle Mother Teresa missed or Mike Huckabee will see per his predictions.

Feb. 29, 2008, 9:45 a.m.It seems Bush has popped his head out of the White House and seen his shadow. He'll be back in six weeks with another silly comment.

Feb. 29, 2008, 10:07 a.m.And he also said "Mission Accomplished." And he also said that we would be welcomed as liberators. And he also said that Saddam was buying yellow cake. And he also said that we do not use torture. And he also said that we do not spy on the American people.
Need I go on?

Feb. 29, 2008, 10:39 a.m.This is how revolutions start.
France in 1789. Louis the XVI, who inherited all the debts of ill-fated wars, and the debts piled on by Louis the XV, added his own incompetency and arrogance to the mix and lit up the tinder box that started the French Revolution. It changed the world as they knew it then.
Do you see the uncanny similarities here?
This is our version of Louis the XVI. We just call him GWB. He will be responsible for the death of our civilization, unless something earth-shattering happens..
Like an American Revolution?
