Yeah, it's WAY past time. Why hasn't Congress--even Republicans--not challenged the president's obvious unconstitutional power grabs before? Just how corrupted must the system be if representatives can't look beyond party interests and give some attention to the law and the people they're supposed to represent?

They all seem to be scared to death of him. Before they ever took office they seemed to have nixed the idea of impeachment, which was what the people elected a democrat Congress to do! I know it takes a larger percentage than the democrats have, but good grief, they have taken a dive on us!

I don't know if they were scared of him so much as they were of being attacked in their next campaigns for investigations and impeachment appearing like political maneuvers rather than honest attempts to bring balance and justice back into government.
But they sure have taken a dive, especially on other matters that might not be quite as politically antagonistic as impeachment.
