Feb. 28, 2008, 10:50 p.m.I can't convince any of the people i know that Obama isn't a Muslim, and that's the only reason they give for not wanting to vote for him. Just sad, frankly, i think it's more race related, and they don't want to admit it, so they play the Muslim card.

Feb. 28, 2008, 10:53 p.m.Senator Obama is a Muslim, and I am Pope Schlomo. What difference does it make what religion he is? No one should care about that! If he follows the rule of law, can abide by laws passed by a duly elected Congress, and obeys and upholds the Constitution all while protecting troops, and saving money, then I don't care if he worships Dairy Queen. Far as I am concerned that might be better. Then we might be offered two DQ Blizzards in every home....mmmm, pardon me, I am getting hungry.

Feb. 29, 2008, 6:44 a.m.It matters very little weather he is or not, firstly because if he is the guy the military industrial complex has picked to be president, he will be...regardless, secondly because I really don't care. I'm not voting for him, hillary, mccain, or anyone for that matter. After bush, I'm convinced that voting means nothing.

Feb. 29, 2008, 9:14 a.m.I listen to what each of the candidate's have to say in their speeches, plus Q & A sessions, not to the rumors and innuendo's.
Thanks Neo for the heads up on this article.
Thanks Mark!
My comment is not where it was suppose to be, it's Propeller's fault.

Feb. 29, 2008, 11:03 a.m.I am planning to vote for Obama, but when I read this kind of hostility toward conservatives, it makes me want to run the other way. You would get a lot further convincing people Barack isn't a secret Muslim if you didn't start off by calling them idiots. And in their defense, there is a lot of misinformation out there, and plenty of it is coming from "friends" of the Clinton campaign. They have the right and the duty to question these things, and it is our job to inform them of the truth. But like the saying goes, You get more flies with honey than with vinegar.
Besides, most of these people aren't going to vote for Obama anyway, so why call them names? It just raises the tension between the parties, something Obama is trying to end. Or at least decrease. :P

Feb. 29, 2008, 11:25 a.m.First of all, you're an idiot for not knowing the difference between "your" and "you're".
Now Obama isn't a Muslim, but he's definitely a Communist. During his Senate campaign, he accepted a donation and endorsement from the American Communist Party. Also, take a look at this video, its from the office of "volunteers" for the Obama campaign in Houston, here's the link:

Who's that picture of on the Cuban flag hanging on the back wall? That's right, kids! Its Che Guevara! And besides being on the cool T-shirts that all the kids wear, who is Che Guevara? That's right, he was Castro executioner during the Cuban Revolution. Wake up people, the future of our Republic is at stake here.

Hillary is a Neo-Con?
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/26/us/politics/2...
"Mrs. Clinton's new campaign manager, Maggie Williams, recently appointed to bring a tougher hand to the operation, issued a withering reply, not taking responsibility for the photograph but attacking the Obama campaign for suggesting that the photograph amounted to fear-mongering imagery.
"Enough," Ms. Williams's statement began. "If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely."

Feb. 29, 2008, 6:20 p.m.Even if he were a Muslim, what of it? There is nothing in the constitution or other law that should prevent a Muslim from serving as president.
For all the talk here about racism people seem to lose sight of the fact that excluding people based on their religion, or lack thereof, is just as bigoted.
So much for America, the land of the free. It's looking much more like the land of Christian bigots.

Feb. 29, 2008, 7:56 p.m.What shocks me the most is that the American people, who have been screwed so hard up the pooper by the Bush administration, still buy their lies.
Case in point:
I was at the counter at my local cafe and I was talking to the woman (probably in her mid 30s) about who she was going to vote for. She told me McCain, even though she was going to vote for Obama. I asked her why she changed her mind.
"Because Obama didn't salute the flag. He hates this country. And I have children to worry about!"
If I could have reached over the counter and shoved my coffee straight up her Starbucks I would have.
As PT Barum once said, "there's a sucker born every minute"... so I guess that's why people still vote Republican!

Feb. 29, 2008, 8:57 p.m.The section of Americans or zealots who are making an issue of Barack's middle name are racist pigs. They are making the country a racist pit with intolerance for names other than Jennifer, Mike, Bill and other BS.
Compare this to India. It is a true secular democracy. The President of Hindu India was a MUSLIM in the last term. The current President is a WOMAN. The Prime Minister is a SIKH.
What a bunch of hypocrites judging a person by his name.

Feb. 29, 2008, 10:36 p.m.Here is an ad I found in a remote town newspaper. Guess where it could be:
"WANTED. A MALE VIETNAM OR IRAQ VETERAN, AT LEAST 70 OR OLDER TO APPEAR IN COMMERCIALS FOR A NEW LINE OF PRODUCTS INCLUDING DENTURES, HEARING AIDS, CRAFTMATIC ADJUSTABLE BEDS, PILLS FOR ED AND WRINKLE CREAMS."

Feb. 29, 2008, 11:20 p.m.Yikes, freaky comments on this board, I think I lost a little more of my innocence. We really need a truth in campaigning bi-partisan comittee who reviews any information before allowing campaign ads to be run. So that people like these or the FDD (buncha idiot you-know-what-cks there) don't get in

March 1, 2008, 1:58 a.m.Klariss,
I'm sorry to say that I am, in fact, one person and one person alone. I think it speaks volumes about our society that anyone who uses the English language properly is suspect in some people's eyes.
Then again, I guess that after almost eight years of having a stumbling child-king in power who couldn't string a cohesive sentence together to save his soul, I shouldn't be all that surprised. This is typically referred to as "The dumbing down of America".
And what is "1960s language" anyway? Last I checked, we were using the same words back then that we are now. Just curious, you see!
Yours in sunshine,
Doctor Benway

Yet, they shamelessly propagate those lies and continually portray it all as the truth.
They have been lying for too long but still there are buyers and right wing media want to promote their concocted stories.

((I will never understand how any human being can boldly lie to MILLIONS of people. How amoral can you get? It is beyond astounding.
To intentionally LIE in public is not just wrong, it is devious and EVIL. All of those people who perpetuate those lies are shameless, greedy, and evil))
