Ellen DeGeneres took a rare political stance though she was careful to call it a personal stance, because, she said, "this is important to me" on her show scheduled to air Friday, regarding the murder of 15-year-old Lawrence King, shot in the head on Feb. 12 by a classmate in a suburban Oxnard, Calif., junior high school.

    Gay young man killed in Fort Lauderdale last week.. Gay beaten at a trendy restaurant as he dined with his friend, also in Fort Lauderdale.. and Fort Lauderdale is on the list of top 10 tourist destinations for gays... they put several hundred million into the south Florida economy... a boycott would certainly get someones attention...

      The hate isn't going to stop, but it can be curtailed when the SOB's who perpetrate it are dealt some consequences. Cause they sure as hell aren't going to change their putrid way of thinking.

        The urge to physically attack those different from the main stream seems to be at it's peak with those who are in their early teens. Unfortunately, that hen-pecking urge on the "not normal" doesn't leave everyone AFTER that age.
