Microsoft Cuts Vista Prices in Hopes of Spurring Adoption »

As we close in on the public release of Windows Vista SP1, Microsoft has taken what's likely an unprecedented step: it's cut the prices of many of the retail versions of the OS. The timing is obvious: Microsoft has been betting heavily on SP1 as many corporations have been waiting to deploy Vista until its release; MS wants to enhance its chances.

      They should be concentrating on making it work! Sucks that it costs over $300 for a full version. I just upgraded to the latest version of Mac OS X and it only cost me $100 and it works! I don't understand why all the different versions of Windows, home, business, pro. Just make one and be done then sell it at a decent price.
