Propeller Week In Review: February 29, 2008 »
Posted by: JamesMarcus 1 year, 10 months agoA story about impending revolution in the U.S. racked up the most votes this week at Propeller. But the community also sounded off about evil robots, kissing, and genetics--and bade a (mostly) fond farewell to William Buckley Jr.

Feb. 29, 2008, 3:17 p.m.Thanks for the weekly review, James. And, I know that you appreciate our patience, but the ability to navigate through the web pages on Propeller this week has been horrendous.
For me, it was so bad that it was too tedious to even vote, comment, and post stories.
The problem can't be on my end, because my browsers both work fine on all the other sites that I visit.
I would like to resume my regular participation, but it currently is too frustrating waiting for pages to load. It would be nice to inform us when this problem might be resolved.

Feb. 29, 2008, 3:57 p.m.Indeed,closing the "boogie gap" shouldn't be our most pressing national priority, yet sadly it pretty much is.
I also wish to let you know the glitches and unavailability of the site are truly horrendous of late, I'm patient, but participation is almost impossible. I'm not sure if you are aware how bad it's gotten. But nice review of the week!

Feb. 29, 2008, 4:35 p.m.Well! I thought it was my Commodore 64-1...
My rig is a lemon, so I couldn't tell if it was me or you.
Anyway, now I feel better.
Now James, what makes you think I wasn't serious with my comment? Fembots can make a man a little gunshy...or is it my Commodore 64-1? I'll get back with you on that.
PS. Life is good! Thanks.

Feb. 29, 2008, 6:33 p.m.And of course, to the question on the amateur radio bands, who would I like to answer the phone in the middle of the night, the answer here on Propeller is : I don't know, may be Marina, Sanda, Aniko, Hedi, Mimi, Corina, Dana, Candice...
Who would you recommend for me ?

Feb. 29, 2008, 6:34 p.m.Thank you all for informing us of the performance issues on Propeller.com. Rest assured that these reports are not falling on deaf ears. We are hard at work diagnosing the likely causes (and yes, are looking for bandwidth!). At the same time, we are putting the finishing touches on something bigger and better, that we hope will be worth all of the patience you have exhibited on the current site.

Feb. 29, 2008, 7:46 p.m.While I have a chance, please let me say 'sorry' to all my friends whose stories I haven't read and voted for this whole week. I CAN'T. My propeller has been frozen for days.

March 1, 2008, 9:27 a.m.Thanks for including my remarks in honor of WFB. An enigma if there ever was one. James, you have helped this site with your writing and your even-handed style.

March 2, 2008, 12:01 a.m.when someone dies, as this "unknown 57 year old man", will soon die, who is in possession of loose Ricn, a substance that, for the most part, only government funded labs can produce. The public should know that they are being lied to. And the style and tenor of the lie, who, how, and why should. indicate the source of the lie as the dept. of defense. Somebody ****** up with government property again and we should all be alarmed.

Follow the link and get a free PS3! I'm not trying to scam you, all you have to do is sign up. Then you have to register for ONE offer. I recommend the Yahoo Success Kit, it was only $1.95. Then you get other people to click your link, and as soon as they sign up for their offer, you get credit. It takes 12 CREDITS for a FREE PS3, and its really simple! Shipping and handling is free! I've already got an iPhone from this site, so try it!
