"I think it will be suspended," Qureia said. "What is happening in Gaza is a massacre of civilians, women and children, a collective killing, genocide," Qureia added. "We can't bear what the Israelis are doing, and what the Israelis are doing doesn't led the peace process any credibility."

I don't really understand the point of negotiations with Palestinians at this time. They will never follow any agreements they made. Even if one meets all of they demand, they would ask what else you going to give us. They really don't want peace, and have very little to offer. Lack of businesses, infrastructure and very hostile environment, little money held by population creates bad business environment.
"The poor me" strategy has been working for them for half of the century. I fully expect them to continue playing that game.

I'm afraid that Mr. Qureia forgot that according to his political platform Israel has no right to exist within ANY borders and that Palestinians will reject any arrangement except full destruction of Israel. Someone should read Article 21 from his own Charter to him:

> Palestinians threatened Saturday to call off peace talks with Israel...
Peace talks? What peace talks?
> ...after 45 Gazans, at least half of them civilians, were killed...
If "at least half" of them were civilians it means that the other half were fighting militants. It's a pity that Palestinian civilians did not learn yet that militants (especially Palestinian militants) are extremely dangerous individuals and being next to them can be deadly. It's up to the Palestinian civilians to distance themselves from the militants if they're willing to stay alive.

Interesting that the story started off with, "Israeli troops turned heavy firepower on rocket squads bombarding southern Israel Saturday"...
This clearly shows that Israel was retaliating. But Stoners, typical leftist, chose to focus on something else. And look at all the libs who voted for that.
Sink.
