March 1, 2008, 1:21 p.m.I would say that once Barak becomes the nominee the press will stop treating him with kid gloves and start doing what they always do... loking for ways to make money by selling fear and exposing people for having human frailities. they will do the same to mccain.

March 1, 2008, 3:47 p.m.I wonder if Hillary getting knocked out next Tuesday would hurt Obama (in terms of media scrutiny) more than it would help him. People are already acting as if Obama has the nomination sewed up, so you're starting to see more attention being paid to Rezco and the like.

March 1, 2008, 11:42 p.m.She's right. The press, by its very nature, is forced into not falling in love with a candidate. The holy scoop will always outweigh their own opinion on matters. They will "betray" Obama.

March 2, 2008, 10:47 a.m.Barack Obama lacks the experience necessary to deal with world issues and I am skeptical about his plans for America. His stint in the Senate has not been particularly noteworthy. More than that his repeated abstentions (which = no votes without the backbone to vote no) in Illinois show a weakness which will allow other world powers to discount his leadership ability. America has to regain its leadership role if all the issues hovering over the world are to be addressed and lasting solutions found: Israel, China, Russia, Iran - our fiasco in Iraq has cast a terrible shadow on our world position. We must think globally AND nationally - change is needed but we must be careful to chose the right changes and not be lead by fanciful oratory.

March 2, 2008, 10:54 a.m.The press WILL turn on him.. They have to to continue feeding their need to sell their product. I belive the press PROFSSIONALLY wants him to win the nomination. They have had YEARS to tear up Clinton & McCain. Obama is new fodder for them, a trip through a brand new feeding trough! Soon the headlines will be "Where Hillary Went Wrong", followed by "Why the Repub's (or Dem's) lost the election". In the end, the Industry does not care. They will tear down the new Pres. at any opportunity, and they WILL FABRICATE it if need be.
Vote with very open eyes this time... it is vital. Please do NOT vote just for the party, no matter how much you hate G.W.
Senator O'bama needs to explain in detail his stances on the true issues. I hope he does it soon

March 20, 2008, 9:39 a.m.UPDATE: With all the press attention on Mr. Obama, I am reminded of Susan Estrich's column that I submitted several weeks ago. Was she right or was she right?

March 1, 2008, 8:21 p.m.I'm tired of Obama, who exactly does this country seem to be turning to? I'll admit the dismal Bush record is responsible for this country being in an almost revolutionary state.
It's like turning to Carter because of Watergate, where did that get us.
The most outrageous thing I read recently is that the "elders, who are steaming over the Obama photo smear on the other side of the world, announced plans to convene a traditional tribal court to deal with this matter. Anyway the court could possibly require Clinton to pay a fine in livestock" These traditions in Obama's father's fatherland are numbing and remember the apple doen't fall to far from the tree!
