    FTA:

Four states vote Tuesday, but the focus is on races in the big states of Texas and Ohio. The former first lady desperately needs wins in both states to salvage her once-powerful bid to become the U.S.'s first female president.

"I'm just getting warmed up," Clinton told reporters on Monday, looking ahead to a busy day of campaign events in Ohio and Texas where polls show a close race. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, has asserted that his wife must win both states to keep her campaign alive.

She's got to keep putting out this message that she's going to win, what else can she do? It'll be interesting to see how the campaigns change after this next round of state primaries. Much has been said and written concerning a fractured Democratic party should Hillary continue to fight after losing Texas and/or Ohio. It seems to me that the Dems are always fragmented over something so that party should be able to handle another few months of nomination battling without irreparable harm.

    FTA:

"McCain's nominee-in-waiting status has put pressure on Democratic leaders to bring their party's historic but increasingly negative nominating contest to an end because they fear that a drawn out battle could hurt the party's chances in the November election."

This seems to be a popular concept and I can understand the argument but I see it EXACTLY opposite.

As long as H & B are merrily jousting McC won't be able to focus his jousting and he'll have to maintain an anti-woman AND anti-black campaign simultaneously. Not such a pretty picture...

Meanwhile if B & H joust meaningfully and passionately and manage to keep it clean they will both be earning lots of respect and we'll get to see them dealing with some real issues between each other.

Maybe I'll be proved completely wrong but that's my take right now.

based on the votes that I'm getting on the comment above, it seems these Clinton supporters don't recognize sarcasm when they see it. But, a lack of sense of humor from those on the left is in large part what drove me to the right.

Those super delegates and alike with their endorsement's have shown what a bunch of true lobbyist they are. Most of them have been throwing their votes for their fat self interest and not the in the true defense and interest of the people. It will be the same with the electoral college too.

More and more Obama is sounding like Dubiya relying on blind support to bring his candidacy to the Whitehouse, His most recent utterances that he talks to Jesus everyday like he was preaching to the locals at the affirming-... (I wonder if he can look into Putin's soul also?)

Another faker who is a "uniter-not-a divider" the country DEFINITELY doesn't need.

The question is competency and electabililty. As expected there are those who would pick one rather than the other on these two characteristics. The nearly 100% shift of the black population (African-American for those who choose political correctness), black is faster to type, questions the colorblind accuracy of their choice.

Is that a good decision? There is a fine line between pride and outright racism.

She's probably taling about her personal momentum. She's my age, and I would have run out of momentum long ago.

It takes a while for repeated doubts to take hold, and the polls show denigrating Obama, sowing the seeds of doubt, is providing some (bitter) harvest.

She may get even more momentum after the Obama press conference today hits the air

Ask Tough Questions? Yes, They Can!

"a smiling Obama strode out to a news conference at a veterans facility here. But the grin was quickly replaced by the surprised look of a man bitten by his own dog."

"Reporters from the Associated Press and Reuters went after him for his false denial that a campaign aide had held a secret meeting with Canadian officials over Obama's trade policy. A trio of Chicago reporters pummeled him with questions about the corruption trial this week of a friend and supporter. The New York Post piled on with a question about him losing the Jewish vote."

Looks like the Obama honeymoon with the press is over!

Somethign I noticed in the Texas Ads. Because of the dual method used in Texas a primary and a caucus, you first vote in the primary and then the caucus. Now the caucuses start at about 7:15 pm (15 minutes after the polls close). In Obama's ads he is telling his people to show up at 7:15 for the precient caucus. In Hillary's ads her supporters are being told to show up at 6:45. Now one little rule that most people don't know about. If at the precient caucus a majority decide to vote to move the precient caucus at the lat minute, that can happen and is legal. Is Hillary trying to get her people there early in hopes to getting a quick vote to move the caucus to a different location at the last minute to hide it from the Obama supporters? Opinions?
