From the moment I saw Jeff Healey playing this song, I knew that this singer and guitarist was one of the truly great musicians of our generation. It feels like it all went by so fast, and our hearts cry out in the memory of this blind man who opened us all to his world and gave us music that will continue on in its sheer purity and greatness.

      The world was blessed by a talented and inspired musician. He never let cancer or blindness stop him from what he loved -- playing guitar and creating music. He lives on.

              That is really quite an amazing cover of perhaps the most emotional Beatles song ever. It's too bad I hadn't heard anything about him since the 80's

              I guess the market for blues-rock guitarists collapsed in the 90's
