I was looking at this guy's face and he just seems so young.

Life passes by so quickly, and before you know it, it is all over.

        Live while you can.

        We will miss you Jeff.

I just hope that we can all bring some of the brilliance that he brought into his own life, into our lives as well.

The cancer that killed him is the same that made him blind. Not my kind of music but a very interesting style of guitar playing and he did always seem like a nice guy. I never did see Roadhouse.

I was amazed he was in Roadhouse. It's one of those movies that's so bad, it's fun to watch. I didn't see it until sometime earlier this year and I remember thinking, "Is that Jeff Healey????"

            RIP Jeff.

What a bummer! Saw him with Little Feat several years back and he just tore the place apart. A unique talent, was just wondering recently what had become of him. May the angels turn their eyes your way Jeff.....

I've had the pleasure of hearing him play. A remarkable musician who didn't let his blindness get in the way of doing what he loved best...playing music.

He is playing his sounds for a higher power now. The great maker doesn't allow the good to stay on earth long. He will be missed.

What a sad time. I am glad I got to meet the guy. Such a warm soul, who was kind to anyone who wanted to talk to him. Such a rare artist, who never backed away from a challenge. Proof was learning how to play the guitar and this was not the conventional way. The world lost a wonderfull artist and he will surely be missed by me.

Rest in Peace, Jeff. I thank the stars we were given the gift of your talent. Even though you are gone your music will live forever.

What an odd coincidence. I was just watching Road House (Patrick Swayze movie) the other day and wondering just how in the hell this guy managed to play as well as he did with the awkward fingering you have playing with your hand ABOVE the neck. Not to mention blind...
