It was a local boy... parents are getting hate mail and threats... thanks, we're so proud of our son... Nancy Grace is now covering the story... it's a bad day for being sadistic freak... youtube, National Enquire, Fox tv all have the same owner... oh yeah after three months youtube removed the filming of a gang rape... everybody wants to be famous without doing anything worth while.

Even if this is a fake those two should get in trouble. That was NOT funny.
BTW, I thought we had sent adult men over there to fight and help that country not children doing stupid childish stunts.
Good Grief, If there's nothing better to do over there than to throw puppies over a cliff why are they still there.
Oh and how many kids will see this and because a soldier throws a puppy over a cliff that makes it ok to do the same thing or worse to other animals.

What kind of enjoyment can ANYONE get from something like that?
I couldn't even get myself to watch it. I know I would throw up if I witnessed anything like that. WHY! WHY?
What is WRONG WITH THESE BASTARDS?
How is this "FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT"?
Sickening.................. put them away for a long time...yeah, I support our troops...I NEVER support crap like that.

Guys, GITMO? You want them to serve their time at a much worse place. Say Leavenworth, the military section. Where there are no bars, strictly lines painted on the floor. Cross them and, well you'll never have to worry about crossing them a second time.

Unfortunately, the service gets some people who enjoy killing and cruelty. It's the nature of the beast.
What is truly sickening is that this made this far without a commander taking action. Makes me think something is not on the up and up here.
Somethings not quite right, I can't put my finger on it yet.
The pair of them should be under psych observation.

I'm not surprised.
What do you expect. We train these young kids to be killers, to grow cold to death and destruction. To value team above all else. They get paid to kill things and break stuff.
Armies rape, pillage, loot and steal.
I feel bad for the little dog, but how many people have been killed, injured or violated in some way?
That's why in my eye bringing a country to war is the most serious decision that a president can make.

this evil behavior
but it is certainly not more evil than the the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people during an illegal war which serves only to empower oil barons and the military industrial complex.
but somehow, decrying those terrible human deaths is called unpatriotic, and suggesting that it should stop is called abandoning our troops. as those mother weep over their dead children.
but yeah, the poor puppy.

Sadly, I have to agree with you.
The thing about being in a war situation is that there is no room for objectivity. The obscene may approach a normalcy in time to some. Violence begets violence. Look at all the mass shootings that we are seeing in the U.S. It wouldn't surprise me if this was a trickle-down effect from years exposure to all war, all the time in the media. Our govt. sees fit to kill a few hundred thousand innocent Iraqis, so what's a few college students, or Wendy's patrons? With an easy access to weapons, and the example set by our govt., The disgruntled make the news.

I absolutely support the troops. I may not support the war or the reasons for it. But don't ever come round me bad mouthing the troops. You won't have any teeth left.
What these two did is sickening. That is not all the troops.
I agree with the first part of your comment. But you angered me me with the other part.
Think about this without our troops you would be there or someone you love. They'd start the draft again.

You don't know that it was or wasn't "staged".
The Marine Corp IS investigating --
http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/03/marine_pu...
"Officials at Marine Corps Base Hawaii issued a statement condemning the video."
"The video is shocking and deplorable and is contrary to the high standards we expect of every Marine," the statement said.
"This video came to our attention this morning, and we have initiated an investigation. We do not tolerate this type of behavior and will take appropriate action."
But even if it WAS staged, it is NOT funny.
Anyone who even PRETENDS to KILL an innocent puppy is sick and/or dangerous and needs help and also needs to NOT be on active duty in a war zone.

Their actions are disgusting.
If those 2 soldiers will do that to animals, what are they doing to human beings???
They ABSOLUTELY need to be reprimanded or punished.
...doesnt quite jibe with your "you dont know that it was or wasnt staged"! Will you be so quick with an apology if its not proven to be true? I will be the first to condemn them if it is.

you peace loving granola eating fags have obviously never been to iraq. so what if a soldier threw a dog off a cliff, who gives a flying f***?!!!! did peta go to iraq too??? no, just our brave sons, daughters, fathers and mothers. what happens when you live day to day, bullet to bullet, breathe to breathe.....this kinda s***! so a puppy died, boo f***** hoo. bet none of you have ever seen a dead soldier boarded on a plane for his last trip home, witnessed a funeral where the family couldn't have an open casket since the fallen was too mutilated, had to deal with anti-war protestors at a loved ones funeral. thank god our government hasn't initiated a draft. the minority of true warriors left in this country will take care of the weak. so all you fags can keep your freedom of speech.

YEAH!
you tell em!
what do they know? what wrong with a little puppy killing after a long day of people killing anyway? sometimes you just need to unwind.
after all, once you've seen your buddies killed for no good reason, and realized you've been killing people for no good reason, nothing makes you feel better like the sound of a puppy going squish!
damn liberals! always wanted worry about saving stuff. When Bush said he wanted to create an atmosphere of life, he didn't mean for muslim infidels and their puppies. that puppy could have been a terrorist! you don't know. I heard al queda was training terror dogs from an early age.
KILL! KILL! KILL!
USA!
anyione who doesn't support killing is a traitor as far as I'm concerned and should be killed! KILL!! BLOOD! give me BLOOD!
.

Rather than incessantly whine about these guys torturing and harming a puppy, I'd like to pose this question to you: does war ultimately make killing acceptable? Or better yet, if you're in the military forces, serving your country, does it give one the right to be exempt from all inhumane acts?
Sure we sit here and argue endlessly over soldiers defending our country vs. pointless wars vs. morality vs. what have you. But in the end the arguments never really wash. From most of the logic I've read here, you're saying if someone is desperate enough due to poverty or whatever, it's perfectly okay for them to commit murder.
Why? Because you can argue they were 'defending' their rights for battling against poverty, hunger, etc. Yet, the irony is, due to not being in the service, we immediately brand them for the crime and have them arrested.
Will these guys ever face justice? Probably not. But in the end, they will have to live with themselves (cont).

Especially later when they finally do come back home, have a family and their children start torturing animals for fun. Oh, yes, I'll love to hear that.
Where the kid will then argue, "why can't I feed poison to this cat? You threw a stupid puppy down a cliff, and then blamed it on war fatigue (shellshock, or whatever PC crap they call it nowadays)!"
Problem is as we continue with our aggressive nature as a whole, we become more and more desensitized to where we no longer have the means of being called 'human' anymore.
And no, this is not some 'feel good hippie granola-eating' crap, this is regrettably reality. And as Carlin once pointed out, once again, BS reigns supreme over our society because we can't face the truth of our actions. If we're not eating and shopping endlessly, we're out killing things in the name of whomever and whatever, for the sake of 'protecting' our country.
Walt Kelly said it best, 'We have met the enemy, and it is us.'
