Oh yeah Greenmac, I gotta give you sole credit for breathing life into the long-dormant Music category on propeller. You just kept on posting until people caught on, and now we're regularly submitting all kinds of wonderful tunes! :D Seriously, I've enjoyed every single one.
You kick azz, GM!

BK...Ranch...I guess what I am trying to say is....in my personal observations ....I see different interactions between community members when they comment on the Music forums and when they post on the Political forums. I see a different side of the individual.

I'm just messing with you. You're right, of course. That's because music is something upon which we can (mostly)agree, whether we like it or not there isn't any buy in. We're not emotionally connected to whether I like Billy Joel or you like Rage Against the Machine. If you like that kind of stuff, fine, if you don't, that's fine too.
With politics and religion just letting someone like what they like or believe what they believe (as long as it is true) isn't sufficient for most of us. Me included.

I have often thought how lucky I was to be living in a time when music was available to all of us with just a flip of a switch. In the past, to hear a tune you had to play an instrument of get someone else to play or sing. It's so wonderful how much access we all have to any kind of music everyday. I love it all opera, classical, semi-classical, pop, old and new country and western, and all genres of rock but my favorite is the blues and jazz. I think it's easier to do anything with a music in the background and it's hard to be cranky while listening to good music. Right now, I'm listening to Jimmy Buffet's "License to Chill" cd because Jimmy reminds me of warm weather and the Caribbean and we have snow up to our ^@$#%& today. lol
