The best prevention is Vitamin D3. The flu and cold virus has been positively correlated to the your latitude on the planet. Simply, the less sunlight you get, the less Vitamin D your body produces. The next preventive is serious amounts of Vitamin C. And I am not suggesting 500mg. You need at least 3 grams a day to be healthy. I have taken up to 50 grams and destroyed a cold in less than a day.
