While I agree it must be a Great Name, it does not necessarily have to do with where the breed is from. My breed is one of the very few from Africa. African names can be very difficult to pronouce. So in our kennel we name our dogs for attitude or events. Giving them a name that sounds wonderful when being cooed if the dog needs reassurance, or is quick should you need to yell for the dog. We are careful to avoid names that sound like "No". No matter what we name our dogs they all start off thinking thier name is "cookie" since this is the word used for them thier entire lives.

Chihuahua's make terrific purse and lap pets. They are so delicate and small. They devote to their owners with affection and love. Girl dog names that would be perfect are Brandy, Heidi, India, Bessie and Mira. For the boys how about these dog names Binky, Checkers, Dash, Spike and Tex.
