    FTA:

Chapel Hill Police Chief Brian Curran released two surveillance photos of the suspect taken at an ATM machine in Chapel Hill, but declined to say when the photos were taken. Police also released a photo of a baseball cap the suspect appears to be wearing in both of the surveillance pictures.

"This is our biggest break so far in this case," Curran said.

I hope they find this animal and fry his azz!

What a shame. One of the best and the brightest. She had to be killed?

I realize this a touchy issue, but I can't help but wonder if this killer will be charged with a Hate Crime? Would the young lady have been targeted had she been black or was she targeted because she fit the profile, to the killer, of a college student with access to money, because she was white? I suspect he will not face Hate Crime charges even though this crime seems to fit the defintion for such.

Personally, I am against Hate Crime charges in general, because of thier inequity, highlighted in cases such as this. Why should the punishment for crimes against one group be more severe than those commited against another group? We are all equally valuable.

What a terrible waste, my sympathy goes out to the family.

WAKE UP people. Someone has to say it! White's are being slaughtered by these black animals. Five women in a ladies apparel store. Two female college students. A mayor and 2 others in a Maryland town and on and on... ARM yourself's. The media will focus on sham cases like The Duke U students and the Jena 6 thugs only as a cover to what is really happening. Jackson and Sharpton won't come out from there holes for a while now, not until they can find another corporation to blackmail or another lie to make money with.

If this comes as a surprise to you, then just crawl back under the rock you've been under for the last several years. This President could do nothing to make me more profoundly disappointed in him than I already am. Whatever destructive thing he does next is just following suit.

Life just isn't fair isn't it? I wonder if the cops would be this good in the arrest if this crime weren't so out in the realm of the media, thereby inducing public outrage in that crime?

As an African American female from NC, I hate that this has happened and I pray for the family of the young lady involved but I think that it is wrong to make this a color issue (alowishous) and then to even go as far as calling him an black animal. We have a big issue with killings and deaths of young people everyday in this country but would you feel any differently about the killer if he was any color other than african american. It's this kind of mindset that contributes to the brutal murders in this country. Instead of contributing to the problem you should be apart of the solution.
