A book that was on a loan for more than 100 years was returned to a library in Finland. The borrowed item was a 1902 volume of Vartija, an active religious monthly periodical at the time.                 Members of the GOP jumped on this good news as a sign that the surge is in fact working. One senator, who for reasons of national security wanted to remain anonymous was heard to say " we have been tracking this book for years and through our international effort and advances in wiretapping, it has been returned undamaged". Laura Bush was particularly pleased, and added her name to the long list of people eager for a chance to check out this long lost religious tome.
