Obama's Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11 »
Posted By bobo-in-texas 1 year, 7 months ago in NewsSen. Barack Obama's pastor says blacks should not sing "God Bless America" but "God damn America." In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda's attacks because of its own terrorism.

As I have said before, the TRUE sad thing is his frothing at the mouth, hate America, nation of islam (and limo liberals), supporters could care less about any of this.
All they care about is getting him elected.....PERIOD.
They will overlook ANYTHING...no matter how true or right in front of their noses it is.
Frankly, I think this man could kill someone in cold blood in the middle of 5th AVE and still get his supporters to vote for him.

Sorry Mo Fo said that?
Anyone that thinks someone running for office that can sit and listen to that at Church then go home and listen to his wife say about the same thing every night and not be affected by it is delusional.
This is more than just a little disturbing. Do an experiment, take one of this hate mongers speeches and put BLACK man in place of where he says White man and ask someone at work to read it and see what happens.
Why is the media passing on something as divisive as this is to America?
Barack gets a pass,,,, You can imagine if any WHITE politician sat in Church that sounded as much like a KKK meeting as this guys sermons sound like a racist against Whites and America,,, said yeah but I don't believe everything they say in church,,,,, would the White Guy get a pass?

BoBo, sort of an overkill assessment, not knowing whether this was for impact and a sensible message or what. I know I have served America as a Career Navy man. I've heard preachers make impact statements of the same type and went right back overseas for a 9 month cruise. I ran my organizations with fairness and sense of service for my countrymen, I am proud to say. You miss the obvious point that this man has done things and lived a life to be a good citizen; overcoming people who's opinions are not very fair minded. American spy's sold our top secrets, damaging I'd say (I don't recall any Muslims or Blacks, however you code it, doing that); is race or religion an issue. The words of a Preacher will never do that sort of actual harm. Stand by for a revelation, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free . . . Some decisions made by us may cause God to Dam us. Keep lying to start wars and hanging on to unjust practices and evil thoughts.

Paranoid, crying like a baby. Someone give you a headline and off you go whining. Some people in America, knowing what was done here are likely to tremble at the thought of paying for their and maybe their father's sins. You don't need to fear, as Obama has worked to restore a process that people are in the process. Look at how he organizes. That's White, Black, Red, Yellow and Brown of male and female genders. You can even spend time thinking on how you can help make America a place that God will bless and likely an Obama Administration will generate policy that will support your efforts.

Well, it IS true! I heard homey's very own words and voice. And this is Obama's PASTOR?!? Well, now we know why Obama didn't salute the flag with Hillary and Edwards on the stage in that picture. This guy is a Baptist? If he's a Baptist, then I'm a Muslim.

Let me enlighten you. Your church is your extended family. You don't abandon your church just because you don't agree with some of the views of a family member. The pastor is the spiritual leader, just as, ideally, the father is the head of the home. But, if the father says or does something you disapprove of, are you going to abandon your mother and your brothers and sisters?
For God's sake, stop panicking and try to put things in perspective! Obama's church family is more than just the pastor. He has developed many lasting relationships over a 20 year period.

You know, it's okay for that pastor to criticize America. No problem.
But God help you if you criticize the pastor for criticizing America. That's just racist. And divisive. And a personal attack. We'll have none of that in this here presidential campaign.
Nope, only anti-American rhetoric can bring us together. That's what Barack's mantra of hope and change is all about, folks. America is evil and must be changed and the hope is to change it into a paradise of isolationism, wealth redistribution, and political correctness. Yup.
...he makes the world taste good!

You got it. I'm waiting for the usual suspects to try to spin this into some sort of "hate". The problem is that the only hate in this story is Obama's spiritual leader's hate the country Obama wants to be President of.
Doesn't it seem more logical to run for a President of a country you love?

Shame on you for twisting things even more! There has been no suggestion whatsoever that Rev. Wright cannot be criticized. The majority of the posts here alone make it obvious that that is UNTRUE!
Not only is the Reverend being criticized here for speaking unpopular truths, so is Barack Obama, who has already said he disagrees with some of Rev. Wright's views.
You just refuse to receive it or believe it, and that's your choice, but please don't stoop to outright lying.

"That's just racist. And divisive. And a personal attack. We'll have none of that in this here presidential campaign."
--So you're saying those of you on the right were similarly outraged and horrified during the 2000 GOP primaries when McCain opponents (I won't name any names) sleazily put a bug in the public's ear that he had fathered an illegitimate black child (and derailed his campaign), right? You shrieked that that was "divisive" and you were all up in arms about it, weren't you?
And, refresh my memory if you will, Son...Who wound up with the GOP Presidential nomination in 2000? Was it George Bush? Why, I think it was. Wow...How did that happen? Surely none of the people here crying on this thread about Hillary Clinton and Obama voted for race-baiter Bush, did they? Of course, not...You've all got principles, right? You'd never vote for a candidate unless you agreed 100% with everything he or she did or said. Got it. ROTFLMAO
