    Same thing I was thinking. Too me, Obama is making light of a serious problem when he says the pastor is just like an old uncle he doesn't always agree with but is still family.

    It's true, you can't help who you're related to, but this situation is entirely different. How hard would it be to publicly denounce Wright's views and change church membership. It makes it look to me like Obama is just playing both sides in an effort to appease everyone. Pure politics, though I think he'd better change strategies soon if he doesn't want to be the loser in this game.
