Propeller Week In Review: March 14, 2008 »
Posted By JamesMarcus 1 year, 7 months ago in NewsAfter a week-long hiatus (which found most of the Propeller team in the Lone Star State), we will now resume normal WIR broadcasting. The talk this week was about Eliot Spitzer, the animal kingdom, and some idiot-proof dating techniques. Come on down!

Sluggish is a bit generous, don't you think? Besides, I prefer slow speed computing. It allows me enough time to enjoy all the porn spam I can observe. With the time it takes to load stories, I can grab a cup of coffee, read a chapter of War and Peace, and my computer is then nearly finished opening the story. Incidentally, I am using DSL...maybe I should switch to dial-up.

It is unfortunate that neither James Marcus nor Tom Drapeau have addressed this post, because it highlights an ongoing situation which, if left uncorrected, will ultimately be the end of Propeller as it exists today.
The time for platitudes has passed. It's time to get something done or tell your loyal members that they should move on to sites which can handle their traffic.

Oscar, I did mention that post in the final paragraph of the WIR. And I responded to several comments in the original thread. The problem is not platitudes--the problem is that we've been stuck in an awkward interval while we're putting the finishing touches on the Propeller redesign. We're very aware of the community's frustration, which we share. All I can do is apologize one more time and promise that we're getting very close now. I can also promise that it will be worth the wait. I hope you and other loyal members will indulge us just a little longer.
