    That's your problem. You are PRESUMING...

    Here, in the DC area, where temps usually hover in the single- digit & low teen mark for weeks at a time, didn't even get down to single digits this year. And the "worse than average winter" turned into 1 snowstorm that was basically melted within 2 days, & 2 ice storms that were gone w/in a couple of days each.

    I have to admit the wind has picked up. Windchills were horrendous, but the temps were beyond mild. We had 70's in January, 50's in February, & early March is too nice already.

    So, from your statement, I can PRESUME that the rest of the US, if not the world, is going through a similar warm period.

      Why the NEG, Wolfie2007? Did I say anything in there that was wrong - other than that I could presume that the entire US is following the same trend as the DC metro area?
