    if u think ritter is lame you havent gone to see him live once you do you will be a fan forever...super nice guy i met him after one of his philly shows and he was just the most sincere person i have ever met

      No, Josh Ritter is not the new Bob Dylan. I think these pointless comparisons are unhelpful - and unfair to artists trying to carve their own musical path.

        Josh has a healthy respect for Dylan. His songs derive from a deep well of musical & lyrical creativity which has inspired our greatest singer songwriters. A man with a healthy respect for Josh Ritter is Levi Weaver - check him out too.

          He is a guy that writes songs. Many of which, in my opinion, are lame.
