GW does all them signin statements sayzin he is above the law --- and guess whut? WE say - thats OK!!
See? We Christian Conservatives is STRONG in our believes. We dont never back down!!
Whereas, them libbies, when they dont react in just the right way to suit us, we get all riled up and indignant!!
Oh, we is precious.
Precioius little indignant phonies.
I loves us.
Only we ken be so dupicitous while seemin so indignant.

Interesting. My questions is why would Obama expose his children to ONE sermon like this? No one running to a President of hope and change should allow their children's minds be filled with this trash and grow up to view the world according to a Pastor like Wright. Obama says he wasn't there. very disappointed in breaking facts, story below.

Pastor Wrights says..."United States of White America" Racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. No black man will ever be considered for president, another Wright quote. Well Pastor Wright Mr. Obama has/had a good shot at being President. He was not damaged by White America, they turned out in droves to support him. The damage was inflicted by you and your anti american/white racist mouthy remarks. You sir are a racist supreme.

FTA: "In the statement he released a few hours later, Mr. Obama, known for his uplifting messages about national unity, professed a certain innocence about his pastor's most incendiary messages."
The key words being "professed" and "a certain innocence". I wonder what kind of innocence, exactly?

Alls I ken say is that when you choose between Obama and McCain, if you are a Christian - you might wantta consisder that McCain actively sought out the endorsement from one of us Christians preacher men who claims all Catholics is W hores!

FTA: "Mr. Wright is no longer on Mr. Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee, though Mr. Obama's aides would not elaborate on the circumstance of his departure, and Mr. Wright did not answer a message left on his cellphone requesting an interview."
I'm professing a certain kind of innocence in understanding why Rev Wright is no longer on Mr. Obama's committee...and in understanding why Rev. Wright wouldn't want to be interviewed on the subject.

FTA: "In the interview last spring, Mr. Wright expressed frustration at the breach in relationship with Mr. Obama, saying the candidate had already privately said that he might need to distance himself from his pastor."
If he was innocent of any incendiary remarks, I wonder why he told Rev. Wright privately that he thought he might need to distance himself?
Curiouser and curiouser!

Here is Rev Wright telling it like he sees it:

Oh watch out Dems, it's from Faux News. I thought I'd better put the disclaimer out there before you come back with the inevitable silly comments. Still, the sermon is all Rev Wright.

It requires the willing suspension of disbelief to think that he did not know about this. What kind of moron would actually believe that he either was not present at any of these sermons AND that none of the other members tolhim what he was missing.
Also, Oprah is a member of this church and very active in his campaign. Was She present at any of these sermons? Or was it some big church conspiracy that they only talked like this when neither one was present?

Obama is finally being recognized for who he truly is. Let's give him a standing ovation. He truly is the one for the USA at such a critical juncture. I applaud his determination to act in a swift manner to decide what is good and what is bad, where the US is concerned.
Why it only took him 20 years to determine the Rev. Wright was not worth listening to. Heck, the average American would probably have listened for 30-40 years before they would have had the gumption to decide that Rev. Wright is talking crap. Kudos to Obama for making such a swift decision.
We need his kind running the show for sure...

So far, so good. So far, Obama is not using political doublespeak in dealing with the issue and has an open, relaxed posture when dicussing it. His appeal has so far been this honesty, and not trying to shield his past, as if he were trying to keep it a secret. It is his lack of defensiveness, and use of common language, not legalese, that has so far made him more appealing than Clinton. Instead of considering the issue closed, he might want open-up about how the rhetoric works in some Afro-centric churches and why educated people, like he and his wife, would continue to attend. This should settle it, for those who thought he wasn't black enough.

Obama has a long way to go. It is beyond belief that Obama was not in attendance during any of Wrights hate speeches. Consider the reasons why Wright was dis invited to speak with Obama..consider the reason he was dis invited. Obama was betting that none of this would come out and he lost..now it is time to pay the piper.

Obama will say, "Well, look, I have already denounced Rev Wright's inflammatory statements, and I have explained his views are not mine and have no part in my campaign. I have explained where I stand, as clearly as I can. Listen to what I say. It's not my job to defend Rev Wright." But this won't go away, that easily.

I guess the first reaction of the Obama campaign should be noted. Rev. Wright was a serving on a spiritual committee. His campaign early Friday said they had no intention of asking him to step down. (see the link Below)
Of course later that day when they realized this was going to cost them some serious votes he was thrown off of the campaign. If Hillary or any other candidate running in this election had hesitated like this they would have been crucified in the press. So much for "Fair and unbiased" reporting.
