When she called to complain, "they were very rude with me about it. They acted like I was lying, like I was making it all up. You know, I would never make something up like that, especially about my little girl. But, that's just how they treated me and it's just not right."

Hmmm. My first thought was "a bit small don't you think". Perhaps it's a bit of male insecurity at play but I think a phallic symbol ought to be a little more imposing.

Come on lady, get a grip (a two fingered grip at least).

This just isn't that big of a deal. It's not intentionally (I wouldn't think) and if you're out looking for phallic symbols everywhere, you're going to find plenty.

Lady, please get your mind out of the gutter. It's a straw. You can't do anything with it. It only looks a little odd, and a pre-teen is going to see it as a straw, nothing else.

You know, the whole world is full of stuff like this. All one has to do is look closely enough and long enough. IMHO, it says more about the person than about the product.

Sometimes a straw is just a straw. Give me a break . This kind of mother creates a problem where there is none. If she had taken them out secretly the kid would never have thought of it . Now however with all the attention the kid does know something is going on and might develop issues. Good job mom! A simple pear fruit has similar shape too. Are we going to start seeing things now or what ? Talk about topology! Cylinder vs sphere.

Centuries from now when historians are looking for clues why it all went downhill they will have stories like this to understand that people decided to mentally kill themselves instead of dealing with real issues. And this is my friends how the nightmare continues...

Ps: Where is the father in that strawry...
