March 19, 2008, 10:20 a.m.FTA:
Four deaths were linked to the flooding in Missouri, a search was under way in Texas for a teenager washed down a drainage pipe, and two people were missing in Arkansas after their vehicles were swept away by rushing water.
The National Weather Service posted flood and flash flood warnings from Texas to Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
I live in Ky, and since Feb, we have had 2 weeks of tornados, 2 weeks of snow and ice, now rain and flooding. Very weird weather!

March 19, 2008, 10:51 a.m.That storm system was really scary at several points in time last night, here in East Texas! Tornadoes were forming on either side of my place. I was preparing for a tornado to touch down any moment. The system dumped several inches of rain and the wind was really bad! Blessings, the tornadoes did not touch down!
I need to get a weather radio, because, the power went out for a while, so I was watching the sky and listening for a loud sound, outside on the front porch.
Prayers for the families of lost and dead loved ones!
Thanks not2needy!

March 19, 2008, 9:52 p.m.Lots of rain here in MO. The Meremac has already gone through Pacific. Valley Park, which built the levees 7 feet higher after the last big flood, is evacuating while hoping the water doesn't get in. The Meremac floods if someone has a good cry. Not many problems on the big rivers; just the little ones that flood with the runoff.

March 20, 2008, 7:33 a.m.I liked that part in the story about the gov. Matt Blunt seeking disaster relief. His dad is our congressman, and a pi$$ poor one at that!
Over 30 tornadoes went over this area on Jan 7 20078, 19 of which touched down.
I lost a mobile home park in the process, yet there are no federal loans available for this area.
