March 19, 2008, 7:58 p.m.Senator Clinton's decision to tap into racist sentiments to bring down Obama and gain the nomination for herself has already begun to hurt the Democratic Party. By the time the convention gets here, McCain will be the heavy favorite in these polls, and Senator Clinton will undoubtedly be blaming Barack Obama for her own defeat in November.

March 20, 2008, 5:51 a.m.What a joke for a party. Racism on both sides. A divided party. They have not even been able to handle a democratic election as seen in two states. Hillary to appear in court in the sommer and Obamas good friend in court now. Not to mention the special gift from the good friend and Hypocrit Spitzer. STILL NO TAX FORMS! Boy must be really hard changing those documents. Hillary judgement on the war and now being shown as first lady her meetings to enforce Nafta something she denies. Obamas judgement on taking his kids to a place where such hate speeches are given and America is damned. here racist in the likes of Farrakan are honored.
What a total joke. How could this party that should be going into a landslide election been able to blow it all.
Funny how republicans such as Colon Powell and Rice were able to rise above the race card and use their intelligence to suceed against the odds. Says alot about the party in my eyes.

March 20, 2008, 10:16 a.m.BO played the race card all by himself with his poor judgment in very close relationship with Wright.First he hedged about it,then he lied about it, then he admitted he did know about Wright and his rants and bigotry. BO even through his grandmother under the bus for Wright. It is fair game to question character in a Pres. The media has allowed BO to go untested up to this point. And it wasn't even mainstream who did that. It was talk radio.Thank God for them.BO has shown his stealth radical side.BO has refused even now to accept responsibility for his own assoc. with a bigot and in fact defended the bigot. Turns out BO is just like the radicals in the '60's but has figured out a way to conceal his anger and contempt. In his book, Audicity of Hope, he even gives lecture on how to "talk with white people." So smooth this man.Run.He is not fit to be Pres.of the USA.

March 20, 2008, 10:20 a.m.Putting the race card aside, the headline is misleading. It is not important what some poll says, Obamas' lead is the same and he'll still lead at the time of the convention. Hillary's mud slinging came too late to ever give her the delegate lead. All she can do now is try to manipulate the Florida and Michigan debacles to her advantage and convince enough super delegates to vote for her. If she gets the nomination the Democratic party will loose a significant portion of the black vote for years to come.

March 20, 2008, 11:08 a.m.Were this a white man The cries for his removal would deafen us all. He should resign in shame for the slimeball way he tried to compare his grandmother to a hateful POS like Wright.

March 20, 2008, 11:21 a.m.Obama will neither gain nor lose my support because he is black. Hillary will neither gain nor lose my support because she is a woman. Nobody gains or loses my support because of their minister; we've seen where that leads: the hapless George W. Bush.
The Dems need to stop being sidetracked with this and get on with the business of the country. Their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory never ceases to astound me.
The news media are a factor. In deciding what to cover and how much, they make non-issues into issues, and reduce genuine issues to footnotes.
That's why the country supported invading Iraq, which 70 percent now realize was a mistake.
I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said democracy is when the people get the government they deserve. Stop listening to the pundits, talking heads, associates and hatemongers. Switch off Fox and CNN and search the Federal Register, congressional and other public agency records and make up your own mind based on the record.

March 20, 2008, 11:28 a.m.Obama has done it to himself, the association with Wright, Ferrakon, and the Black Panthers leads people to be scared of what the real agenda is, because they have an agenda

March 20, 2008, 11:45 a.m.So. Anyone left out there who still thinks Barry's association with the Rev. Wright and Tony Rezko ISN'T damaging? And I don't think his little speech yesterday, as good as it was, is going to get him clear of the "God damn America" stink. He is STILL associated with the Wrong Rev. Wright. And it is still true: Actions speak louder than words.

March 20, 2008, 1:50 p.m.I think the comment "Hillary saved the Day" is far from the truth. The truth is Billary's side has been just as much as evil and Racist in the race.Bóth sides have belittled America. Let me remind you not Hilllarys friend but Hillary herself will also be going to court for campiagn corruption in the summer and if convicted could be using Martha Stewards old cell.America knows how evil and corrupt Billary are and they will not allow them back into the white house no matter how many of you that look at them like movie stars believe they can win.

March 20, 2008, 1:59 p.m.I find it amazing how much the democratic party ruined in such a short time. For the first time in our history we had a BLACK male and a FEMALE that were able to be contenders for the position of the President of the United States. An election where I would say the majority of the nation was not interested in race or gender but wanted positive change.
The democratic parties canidates decided though to reduce themselves to color and sex. We have seen racism from both sides. They both should be ashamed for disappointing their race , gender and all those who have supported them. Ashamed that their intelligence and ability to lead ALL of America , with NO borders being put on race or gender.
The democratic party has shown its colors. If you want a winning ticket I will tell you one.
RICE/POWELL POWELL/RICE THEY SEEM TO BE ABOVE COLOR OR gender!!!

March 20, 2008, 2:12 p.m.All Baptist and Methodist churches preach politics. It's the reason I no longer go to church. But, then again I have no desire to run for president. I'd just screw the country up by not going to war against IRAQ and not creating a debt which would bring our country to it's knees.
I'd just be one of those presidents who would make us the strongest nation in the world. I surely wouldn't want you to ellect me out of fear!!! Then again,,, who could ever get ellected if they told the truth and wanted something good for this country and not themselves.

March 20, 2008, 3:31 p.m.Obama and Clinton have alot more to worry about right now than which one is in the lead in the polls..if the Dems do not sort out the problem of the Michigan and Florida primary situation the Dems will go down in flames come Nov.

March 20, 2008, 3:42 p.m.This jive turkey in the ill-fitting suits now joins Shrillary in being UNELECTABLE come November.
Let's take stock:
- His shady relations with Tony Rezco, who's about to be sent to prison.
- His 20-year allegiance to "Reverend Redd Foxx" Wright, who continues to embarrass himself almost daily with his anti-American jive.
- His participation in crooked Chicago politics.
- His dubious past....growing up Muslim in Indonesia...his nine half-brothers and half-sisters who his mother had with 4 or 5 different men....his Muslim family's connections to Muslims in Muslim countries...
Obama or Hillary? THOSE are the choices? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The Democratic Party is in such disarray it would be pathetic if it wasn't so funny! Spitzer, McGreevey, "Kwami" Kilpatrick, Gavin Newsom, Antonio Villaraigosa - - all Democrats, all currently embroiled in shameful scandals. And who's running the show? Howard Dean! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
This party is FINISHED.

March 20, 2008, 4:30 p.m.Dear readers, today is not a day to rejoice at what is happening to the democratic party. It a day to morn. A large part of OUR nation is of the democratic party. Once again a large portion of America is disappointed in those who they thought could lead this GREAT nation of OURS. It is sad the their are men like Wright preaching out against America inside OUR borders. It is sad that in a nation so large as OURS that this is the best we can come up with as canidates. Many of hopes have been tarnished and the in the present situation in America it is time to realize we are all Americans.
I remember when serving in the military when Gerneral Colon Powell was appointed to the head of OUR military. I remember Ronald Reagans response to the question why Powell?. His answer was when every other general told him 10 reason why we could not do something, General Powell told him 10 possible ways we could. Where are the Colon Powells in OUR politics today?

March 20, 2008, 4:37 p.m.Poor Obama. All those things people were hoping that he wasn't were proved to be true by his preacher. He's just an Al Sharpton with 90 more IQ points. But, maybe not even THAT much higher. Today, I heard that he's blaming his fall on racism. In away, he's right. But, it's HIS unveiled racism that has done him in, not main stream America's. But, it's more than his uncovered racism that has hurt him. It's the fact that he lied AND equated the hate speech OF his preacher with that of his white grandmother who "raised and sacrificed her LIFE" for him. He MIGHT have made it to be the President IF he threw his preacher and church "under the wheels of the bus" this week. Instead, he threw someone who "loved and sacrificed her life for" him.

1. Accountability for those who are serving US.
2. A respectful and victorius way out of Iraq insurring OUR security.
3. Fair trade agreements that put us on equal competition with those we are competing against.
4. A secure border from those who are entering this country illeagal be it for terrorist activity or financial gain.
5. A right to choose how we educate OUR children.
6. A health care system that provides for all.
7. A energy programm that takes us off the dependence of OUR enemies abroad AND the ones earning record wins at home while the rest of America suffers.
I could go on but I am not running for president . I belive most Americans no the rest. One I do not want to leave out though is the right for Americans to bare Arms and defend themselves, their families and property.
