March 19, 2008, 10:37 a.m.It sounds suspect to me, like they have been told to NOT help soldiers register. Wonder what they are afraid of!

March 19, 2008, 7:45 p.m.Idiot. The military is apolitical. If the VA or the Military were actively registering military personnel to vote/select a party, the complaint would be the xxxx admin is using the VA to promote the XXXX party, regardless of who or what party was in the white house. The only way for the VA to stay above the fray is to not participate.
Registering to vote can be done at the DMV, libraries and outside at the door of thousands of stores. And yes people will help whoever to register. This is a bogus story and a bogus issue.

March 19, 2008, 10:47 p.m.Sounds to me like someone doesn't want the ppl who really know what's going on to vote. And to injest, the military is SUPPOSED to be apolitical. That does not mean that ppl therein cannot be swayed. who's the idiot now?
