"So they tell me it's just about over..."

"Well I'm lonely, and no one understands

The show has fallen, into the wrong hands

I am blinded, to see all that's passed

To know it was possible, to be a sadist

I have nothing, for to give

I have lost my, will to live

I lost my pride, lost my joy, and now I've lost my fear

I'd rather die, because I, am just that, unhappy here" _ Ceelo Goodie

This has always been a favorite of mine. I know I mostly post metal, but being that I am from A-town, hiphop is in my blood too. Let me first tell you that hip hop and rap are MILES apart. Hip hop is not about b*tches and hos. Especially not southern hip hop.

Goodie Mob is an acronym for "The Good Die Mostly Over Bullsh^t."

Here are some really good songs by them. Listen to the lyrics. Especially the last verse of both links. Andre' Benjamin fro Outkast is unbelieveable.

Here are the lyrics to those two verses.

Friends, Romans, countrymen lend me yo' eardrums

It was a beautiful day off in the neighborhood

Yellows and greens and blues and browns

and greys and hues that ooze beneath dilapidated woods

Ain't a thing could explain what pertains

to cocaine it's a stain that rain

See summer roll around ******z holla bout change

Then they steady move them ki's like Bob James

Cause old man winter's arrived, the temperature dives

        November just died, December's alive

Thus it ain't no typical ride

Just individual's way to bring home

the bacon when bacon was all gone

Makin it our own, takin me all wrong

We've all indulged in the bulge of those no-no's

No you ain't solo, it's even lower levels you can go

Take sun people, put 'em in a land of snow

Now as an Outkast I was born, wasn't warned of the harm

That would come to meet me like Met Life, but yet life

Done sent me through a lot of up's and down like it ain't nothing'

Like elevators but I ain't the one that's pushin' the buttons

I got off at the 13th floor, when they told me that it wasn't one

They said it skipped from 12 to 14

Still smoking, still drinking, no I'm sittin' on the Lincoln

4 A.M. thinkin' that in reality the world is like a ball full of playas

We trapped off in this maze with walls made of layers

And only prayers is the tightest game that you can have

The devil's takin' a swing that might explain the broken glass

Not really my thing, but they were alright I guess. I have to listen to that at work sometimes and it gets on my nerves after a while.

I guess I'm an old timer. LOL
