I never get tired of seeing clips like this...I truely miss the man, his courage, and his devotion to this country. We will live a long time before we see another like him.

Respecting those who take the oath is good advice for many today, instead of turning their backs on them when they come home without arms and legs, and can't get decent medical care or compensation.

I have never been a fan of John Waynes, but i liked what he said in that video, I loved Dean Martin!

For some reason I think I saw this when it was on. The world sure has changed since back then, as a kid I was taught to respect my country, religion, peoples property, law and order, and peole in general. If you had a problem with someone at school you had a fight and settled it, nobody thought of taking a gun to school. Political leaders were a little more honest as was the population as a whole and we didn't have to be politically correct all the time. The duke was one of my heros not so much for the gunfights and the rough stuff but for just knowing what was right and being willing to fight for it, nowdays we are lied to so much that at times the truth is really hard to see and making a disision where to stand on things is like a crap shoot. I may not be an American but the Duke stood for things that both Americans and Canadians believed in once apon a time. Thanks for the video RedRiver.

        That was wonderful, RedRiverJ!

The is painting of John Wayne on a tower just outside Fort Worth, Tx., I saw his picture everyday, twice a day for the better part of 20 years. Dean was his usual self.

I remember John Wayne's movies, they were great!

        Thanks, nice find!

Thanks a bunch. The Duke was one of my favorites. I also remember the Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis movies. Telling my age.

I miss the Duke. I think I have seen most of his movies. I liked The Green Berets and True Grit the most.
