Wow... how stupid can bush get... so much money! There could have been such a better use of all that money!!! AMERICAN infrastructure.. AMERICAN homeland security.... AMERICAN economy could have been so much better, with banks finally giving loans to people who really need it!
Buckheadd for President 2008!!!
$PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT$ As of 3/21/08, ALPHAGNOSIS has OFFICIALLY become the Vice Executive Manager and has replaced bronxbomber! I fired bronxbomber as he was being a VERY bad Vice Executive Manager, and I felt ALPHAGNOSIS could just handle the job better! ranchhand was fired as of 3/20/08, because he was also following the footsteps of bronxbomber. STONERS is leading effectively, and ENGINEER is also doing fine. ~I am still looking for more, message me if you are interested~

Wow! Very graphic. But that is outdated. Assuming Bush's present funding request is approved, which it almost certainly will be, we are up to half a trillion in direct costs now. With long term care for veterans and replacement of worn equipment, that mushrooms to 3 trillion, meaning Bush's current debt of over 9 trillion will top out above $12 trillion.
We haven't payed for ANY of this. The great lie is about all we could have done if only we had invested this much money here. It was never ours to invest. We have sold America to foreign investors to fund this inane, harmful war that never needed to be fought. And we are leaving our children to pay for it.

Want to walk to the moon?
If you read the article completely to the end, and then do the math, we could build a land bridge to the moon :)
It is about 237,000 miles to the moon on the average. So if 315 billion dollars is 19,887 miles tall, then it would only be about 3.8 trillion dollars to reach the moon....
Seems to me, with our current debt of $12 trillion, it would more than cover the distance there and back a few times.
