Winter is now over and we still do not have any answers as to what is causing WNS. We are still not any closer to finding those answers either.

Here is a link to aNational Speleological Society(NSS) page that has good updates on the disease.

Man is the biggest cause in the upset of the balance of nature.

Some will say so a few bats die, but not realize that a bat eats 6 times its body weight a day in insects, mainly mosquitoes, enter in West Nile disease or such.

Good story for a southern boy, you are learning young man!

    LMAO,,,,have a good day eh!

Besides it is shrubs fault, or schillary, or barak, cheney ohhh just pick one who really cares

There's a weird cancer creating disease that's killing off Tazmanian Devils. A disease that deforms them into something uglier than they are. But, the T.D.s aren't keeping us from bein innundated with bugs like the bats, so, I hope this fungus can be beaten or, you'll definitely want to be wearing a helmet when driving through the country on your "hog"...unless you're REALLY hungry like a bat yourself.

What is the matter? Why don't we have any silly neocons saying how tasty these bat are? Or are the bats so ugly that even neocons won't eat them?

I have sort of following this. It is sad, and I sure hope that it gets resolved THIS YEAR. I like bats, personally, but I've never had one get tangled in my hair like they show on tv.

...they navigate by sonar,Foksi...they only fly blind when there's enough noise to damp their sonar; a loud scream, a boom box...
