Somehow I think this man's life will now be confined to a VERY deep concrete bunker, with armed guards posted.
FYI - I'm still waiting for the clip to play (after 30 mins), but considering it's already had over 3/4 million views in it's first day, that's no surprise......

Thank God, and praise Allah, that this film is about The Religion of Peace so that any responses to it by Muslims will not be violent.
Let's just hope he doesn't make a similar one about Buddhists because then all bets would be off.

Buddhists supported the nationalist war in Japan during WWII. Read "Zen at War" by Brian Daizen Victoria, or Chadwick's biography of Shunryu Suzuki. It's unfortunate but every religion has had a brush with supporting violence, oppression or nationalism at one point.
You can look towards Christianity in Nazi Germany (or Catholicism supporting it by doing nothing and making agreements with Hitler). Or even today in terms of women's rights.
The problem is never a specific religion (except maybe with the Mayans or Babylonians), but with fundamentalists who twist the meaning of a religion to support their own agenda.

Anyone with half a brain knows that this was a deliberate attempt at instigation, and your reaction is exactly what is expected. Let's see, we'll invade a Muslin country for no good reason and murder hundreds of thousands of its citizens, and then on top of that, we'll make a film disrespecting their cultures and religions. The film maker is fully aware of the frustration felt by Muslims, and the bigotry exhibited by whites, and decided to exploit this. Judging by some of the comments on this thread, he read you right.

Courageous for deliberately attempting to instigate violence from a people who have seen their land stolen, their countries invaded and occupied, and their citizens murdered by the tens of thousands?. You admire this? Remember that he is also exploiting your bigotry as he is expecting to get the reaction that you presented.
Anyone with any semblance of reasoning ability knows that this is a deliberate attempt to fuel discord between Muslims and non-Muslims. Who has the most to gain by this? Jewish and Israeli interests. Jews were behind the creation of the cartoons that were published awhile back, and they got exactly the reaction that they were hoping for.

How many Islamists will kill each other in protests? Such silly people. They should be protesting the Koran and it's brutishness and inconsistancies, but they will want to kill the messenger who shows the truth of their evil religion.

How many people will mindlessly accept this filmaker's vision?
Such silly people. These people should be protesting the Bible and its brutishness and inconsistencies, instead of using it as a reason to invade and occupy Arab land, and murdering tens of thousands of its people.
The face of evil? Look in a mirror.

" Iso - Try looking at the proclaimed faith of those who commit the worst attrocities.....
As for your 10's of thousands of deaths, who committed the majority ????
Oh yes, that'd be Muslims, wouldn't it ?"
No. It'd be the self-proclaimed Christians of the US military sent to war at God's behest via George Bush responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths [according to the John's Hopkins study] (or if you want to go by the pentagon's scaled down figure, tens of thousands).

"Dutch broadcasters have declined to show the production by 44-year-old Freedom Party (PVV) leader Mr Wilders, who lives under police protection because of earlier death threats."
In other words, You Tube allows the freedom of speech that Dutch broadcasters are too cowardly to provide.
If the Dutch don't take a stand against the radical Islamists, they'll become prisoners in their own country.

A terrifying chronicle of the exploits of the radical followers of the "Religion of Peace". We ignore these nuts at our own peril.
It's scary when you consider that radical Islamists are involved in virtually every conflict around the globe today...

I don´t really know, why this provocation was necessary. The aim to inform the public by telling the truth about the Islam and its fascist face for me seems to be only a new kind of populism, making use of the web with its "anything goes" as a credo. Is it a testing out the limits, the confortable feeling as a western martyr for the freedom of speech? What the public, in the Netherlands and elswhere in Europe and America, really needs, is an honest dialogue, free from propaganda and hatred.
9/11 has shown to everyone of us, what astonishing power pictures can develope. This power could better be used in a positive and peace-making way than to be abused for the confirmation of prejudices.

Well, then I guess we should refrain from show any films and pictures that might offend your precious muzzies, all in the name of peace and brotherhood, of course.
Next we should all speak Arabic.
Neville Chamberlain would be so proud.

Oh great. Now we'll have to watch as millions of peaceful islamics protest and trample each other to death. I bet one of the first effigies burned is one of President Bush. I saw that during the protests over the dutch cartoon. Right before the trampled a plastic Ronald McDonald. What those two had to do with a Dutch cartoon is beyond me.

If you had the merest shred of reasoning ability you would be asking why anyone would make a film of disrespect toward a people that you have supported the bombing and murdering of.
This filmaker is exploiting the hatred and pent-up frustration of a people who have been victimized for decades by European and American whites, and the filmaker is also exploiting the bigotry by those same whites who've never shown any consideration for Muslims.
Who gains by maintaining discord between Muslims and non-Muslims? Israel and its supporters.
Your reaction is what they expect of you.

I liked the part where Isoparm talks about how European whites are victimizing the muslims. If that were true, Europe would not have such a huge illegal immigration problem with islamic peoples coming in. Last year the number 2 most popular name for new born boys in England would not have been "Muhhamed". And France would not have been on fire for two weeks because two illegal alien islamic morons ran their motorcycle in front of a cop and died in the resulting accident.

I sent a friend of mine a link to the video last evening
After she watched it, she called me. She was struck by the number of Muslims living in Europe
She told me about a book written by Pat Buchanan a number of years ago - The Death of the West: How Dying Populations and Immigrant Invasions Imperil Our Country and Civilization
Apparently the book details the changing demographics in the US and Europe
Anyone read this? She is going to bring it over for me to read

Christians are very peaceful, loving, compassionate, forgiving bunch of folks. If you have any questions about their intent, then you are a lost cause.
Is very clear: Invade and occupy Muslim countries, steal their land and oil, kill hundreds of thousands of their wives, daughters, sons. After this is completed, dominate the world.
"I cannot believe how many of these people are living in the Netherlands and U.K." but as their land has been swept by a Christian plague, they had to find somewhere to live.
If you think it's not about oil and zionist special interest, go ahead, fool yourself.
If things were so bad, why aren't you already there fighting and dying with your weapons?

Joe, if a video was made that showed the horrors committed by any religion, it would raise the hackles of most people. It's called propaganda. There is no doubt that muslim extremist are a real threat to western nations and we should do all we can to defeat them. It's that I don't agree with how our administration under Bush has attempted to fool Americans into thinking he knows best on how to do it and his methods and strategy is the right and only way.

Religion = bad - no argument from me. If you or anyone else knows of a way to kill ONLY the muslim extremists without killing everyone else in the M.E., I'm sure the pentagon would like to hear from you. Don't construe this to mean I support the current "policy" in the M.E. - I don't. I'm just saying - getting rid of ONLY the extremists is like trying to get rid of the KKK or American Nazis. Unless you CATCH them at it, you can't tell them from anyone else; they hide amongst the "normal" population. DEFEATING them might be as easy as just leaving them the hell alone.

Well, it would have helped if we had stayed on track in Afghanistan and the Pakistan border regions that bin Ladin is hiding. It would also have been better not to have wasted our resources starting the war in Iraq. But the fact that we really hadn't caught the one resopnsible for 9/11 enboldens others that would do us harm.

Could very well be. I have a big question mark flying around my head as to WHY in the hell we haven't been able to find/kill Osama. Seems like with all the money and lives we've spent we surely OUGHT to have accomplished at least that much. But no. So: ??????????

To get rid of extremists, one must deny them the type of environment that nurtures them. That means that we should stop pursuing agendas that come at the expense of others such as invasion/occupation, support for dictators (our friends), and hold Israel accountable for their atrocities against the Palestinians. Extremists thrive because they provide the only outlet for the rage and frustration that these people feel as victims of Western crimes. Treat these people with respect for once, and see where it takes you.

I am all for free speech and the right to an opinion. And as for the Chrisitan killings, yes they were years ago and perhaps, with the passage of time, Islam will eventually mute their edges (as did Chrisitanity, but it still has just as bloody as history - the only difference is Islam's going through it as we live currently). But I wonder, does this man have a white, pointy sheet in his closet?

What could the motive for such a film be? Peace? Good relations between neighbors and religions? What is the likely outcome? The man is simply an angry fool. If he were courageous, he would attempt to control himself, and make friends of his enemies. Pathetic.

I have Muslim friends. Not one of them has bombed anything or cut off anyone's head. They are as good citizens as anyone else, better than many of the self-named Christians I know. This video is a provocation, not a caution. The man may have balls, but he has no heart and little brain.

For anyone interested, I have some very good news for a change. On YouTube, Muslims were flagging those who posted videos that questioned Islam. Too many flags and not only were the videos pulled, but, accounts were closed. ONE of the best challengers to Islam was a guy named "investigateislam", who use to actually BE a Muslim, but, somehow, through some miracle, managed to escaped it.
Well, I KNEW something was wrong when his BEST video called "Lying For Islam" (that featured surah 3:28 and how Muslims are given permission to lie) was no longer on YouTube. But, Muslims didn't stop there. They flagged him to the point where his account was closed. But, it wasn't just him...a LOT of ex-Muslim accounts were closed, proving just how thin skinned and insecure the "god" of Islam is.

But, guess what? "Investigateislam" is not only back, but, he's exposing the fact that Muslims REALLY can't even take a HINT of critism, and, doing it in a funny way. Check out "investigateislam". You KNOW the guy is successful when sooooo many Muslims on Youtube, and elsewhere, make so many videos trying to destroy him, calling him a liar, when it's the reverse. They were so happy when they pulled him off of YouTube. But, praise the REAL God...he's BAAAaaaaak. :)

Yes. And Americans and the American Military's done nothing to hide videos, pictures and reports coming back from Iraq showing all the murdering American soldiers over there.
Perhaps instead of your insidious interpretation that Muslims were flagging people questioning Islam, Muslims were flagging people who were spreading lies about the English-based interpretation of Islamic Sura out of context.
Frankly I wouldn't want to embrace the same disingenous prooftexting that Nazis, modern 'evangelicals' and hate spreaders who use the Bible in the same way. But I know you love to embrace that, so why not go ahead.

Spoken like a true al-taqqiya Muslim who attacks people like me and invesitgateislam on YouTube for exposing the truth of Islam by saying that the English versions of the Kuran don't mean what they mean in Classical Arabic. RIGHT!! :) Oh, by the way, I take it 9:1-5 and 9:29 are telling Muslims (in classical Arabic) to NOT break and dissolve peace treaties and kill pagans after the sacred months are passed? Are you SURE you want to go there, sir?

Liveleak gave this explanation:
Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers.
This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realised LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.
Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one anothers culture.
We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high.
