Propeller Week In Review: March 28, 2008 »

Posted By JamesMarcus 1 year, 3 months ago in News

The U.S. death toll in Iraq was the hottest topic of conversation this last week. But the Propeller community also sounded off on John McCain, middle-class woes, and the cloak-and-dagger mischief over at the passport office.

A PUBLIC APOLOGY TO ALPHAGNOSIS AND THE ENTIRE PROPELLER COMMUNITY

During the week in a very weak attempt to be funny, I posted an implied slur about AlphaGnosis. She took offense and RIGHTFULLY SO.

While we are sometimes (most times) of opposing view points, she has never took a shot at me personally or really been anything short of respectful.

Alpha I apologize for the comment and subsequent comments and to the people that gave me a positive, I also apologize for dragging you down to the level to which I had stooped.

    Sincerely

    Will1313

Pretty telling that the top story was about AMERICAN deaths in Iraq. Pretty much shows the quality of our democracy and why the rest of the world pays ever less attention to what we say and think.

Thursday: 225 Iraqis, 1 US Soldier, 3 US Contractors Killed; 538 Iraqis Wounded

Another first-rate week in review, JamesMarcus, I'm getting to the point where I'm going to have to break out the thesaurus if I don't want to repeat my laudatory comments. Could you please do a sort of "phone-it-in" job next week, just to take the heat off? ;)

        Propeller admins,

well done fixing the site. it has been running much smoother. you always hear from us when stuff isn't going well, I thought I'd take a moment to pay a deserved compliment. I know how difficult managing these boards can be.

        thanks.

p.s. a permanent thread were members can offer feedback, suggestions would be helpful to you and cathartic to members.
