Obama trims Clinton's lead in Pa. »
Posted By not2needy 1 year, 3 months ago in NewsSen. Barack Obama was endorsed Wednesday by a labor union and two Democratic superdelegates, as a poll showed he has cut Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's lead in Pennsylvania almost in half since mid-February as he strives to deny her a resounding victory in the state's presidential primary.

FTA:
The Illinois senator peeled off an affiliate of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, which has endorsed Clinton. The Philadelphia-based local of the National Union of Hospital and Health Care Employees has about 16,000 members.
Its president, Henry Nicholas, announced the endorsement while introducing Obama at a meeting of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO.
All the people who thought Pa was a sure thing for Hillary may be wrong after all.

"I just wish it was over. It's poor sportsmanship for Hilary to drag this out."
I'm certain had Obama secured the delegates necessary to win the nomination, Hillary would have bowed out. But, simple fact is, he hasn't.
No one complained about Huckabee sticking around to challenge McCain when he hadn't a chance in Hell of winning the nomination and the last real rival, Romney, bowed out.
Perhaps in the future, Democrats will change their stupid caucus/primary system. Face it: It all comes down to the "super delegates."

If she doesn't win big in PA it will be over. Well maybe knowing her she will come up with another reason why she should still be in the race. I have to tell you this race has changed my feelings about the Clinton's if she wins i will vote for her because i think it's silly to spite myself and my country by letting another GOPer win! But my love fest with the Clinton's are over. They are what others say they are!

Too much is made of the damage Hillary does by staying in the race. She is heloping to vett (what does that mean, anyway) Obama, so that by the time it's general election time, his negatives have been dealt with and are old news (sort of like the continued jabs of the anioklys on these boards).

What a frightning visual.
But the question would be, would that be to 'little to late' or a simple, yet justifiable, twist of fate if that happened.
Psycho Hillary. It has an interesting ring to it.

Also FTA:
"I did speak out and oppose NAFTA," she said. "I raised a big yellow flag and said, 'I don't think this will work.'"
Teamsters president James P. Hoffa, who is backing Obama, disputed her claim.
"No one who was around in the time of NAFTA remembers her doing that," Hoffa told The Associated Press during a telephone interview. "Let's face it, she's tied to NAFTA no matter what she says."
She is being called on her lies! I love this, i hate a liar.

True.
NAFTA was one of Bill's big deals.
It turned out to be one way to sell out American jobs via out-sourcing and compromised basic National Security and local Social Services monies because of the rampant & almost unchallenged movement of illegal aliens across the Southern border from Mexico.
Well Hillary is a liar but to me all politicians lie to suit their purposes' at any given time. So I guess, if you want to participate in US politics at any level, it comes down to supporting which politician you believe tells the 'least number' of lies and/or the 'least dangerous' lies.
An' lets face it, Billy Boy's whole 'game' while President was all about the most effective or deceptive lie he could get away with. Interesting how that is sticking to Hillary now.

Better start hating Obama as well. He's been caught many times over. Rezko, NAFTA, Pastor Wright: Obama caught in lies at every turn.

Yep, you got that right. Rush knows that the reality of it is, Hillary is basically more conservative than McCain. So do many of the posters on Propeller, i have seen many of them say this, and many disavowed that they would vote for McCain, early on, now they can't get enough of him. Yet they still don't think they are hypocrits. lol

On a lighter note, for all you fans of Sci-Fi series like Stargate and BattleStar Galactica:
Honestly, who would you prefer to see flying the "Spaceship of State": - Colonel Maybourne/Senator Kinsey (McCain), the Go'auld System Lord Apophis (Obama) or hotshot pilot and brain-box Starbuck/Col. Samantha Carter?
GO HILLARY, GO!!!

A more accurate comparison might be "The Night of the Living Dead", with the GOP as the pod people.

I have an Obama sign in my yard and window - that should
give me some credibility to issue a bit of a warning.
I would give you a link to the article - but it appears to
be avail. online only to subscribers, but this week's
The Nation's column by Alexander Cockburn (why - is it
pronounced "Co-burn"??)"Maybe One Cheer For Obama",
states that Obama campaigned against Ned Lamont(D) in
Connecticutt in 2006, and FOR Joe Lieberman(I). Cockburn
states that Lieberman was Obama's mentor.
The warning? Stay on Obama's case - make sure that he
is actually MORE for change than some of his remarks
and actions might indicate.

The article is available in the print magazine, but

Hillary is the consumate vindictive biotch. If she can't get the nomination, she'll do everything she can to discredit Obama so he won't either. It's just her nature.

Has anyone noticed that according to the Obama plan, it would not be necessary to have a democratic MAJORITY in either the House or the Senate? Since he so easily reaches across the Isles. Those idiots like Pelosi don't seem to get the message that he views HER as part of the problem...same old, same old.
Watching Obama bowl brings to mind his contention that you don't need experience or talent, just the desire. I wonder if he told the Bowling Ball that it should just go down the middle of the alley BECAUSE IT CAN.
Want to know what happens if he wins...the economy will be in the gutter, like the ball.

Desperation is a biotch!! First you want to knock him for remarks his pastor made - that didn't pan out; now it's because he can't bowl...keep trying...
And in the meantime, guess what? The economy's already in the toilet, curtesy of GWB and the idiots who support(ed) him. Obama will be left with the dirty job of trying to fish it out!

These false appeals to bigotry and fear remind us of the infamous whispering campaign of eight years ago, when anonymous messages just before the South Carolina primary falsely accused Republican candidate John McCain of fathering an illegitimate child by a black woman.

I read the link and of course you have to take it to the personal level. I am always open to facts and never locked into a single point of view. If he didn't know his views after twenty years of hearing many of the same points what does that say about him? I say that after watching and reading about the award Wright just received in Texas and the many associated interviews.

Obama's going to win the delegate vote. Hillary will be nominated by the super delegtes and the Obama supporters will be p issed off and vote Republican. Then Gore will demand a recount only to have the Supreme Court appoint Mrs. Heinz-Kerry President.
