I was trying to figure out if this is a scary time to graduate (I still have a year left, but I know quite a few friends that are graduating.) But perhaps it's not a bad time since if businesses do need to hire they might look for those with a bit less experience simply because they can pay them a lower salary...maybe. Maybe I'm just being optimistic.

Keep in mind all the unemployed not even counted -- those who've already either given up after years of searching or who have been removed from the list because they've been on it so long.

Keep in mind the hundreds of thousands of soldiers and employed Americans in Iraq who have to return at some point (God willing) from this insane war. Who will return to no work, few jobs, fewer opportunities and starvation. Not to mention poor coverage from the VA thanks to BushCo.

The US is deeper in the hole than most believe or will even consider.

only the bushbots still believe we're not yet in a recession, or that recession can be avoided.

but of course, they're wrong. as usual.

I am a hiring manager and I cannot find a decent candidate for any of my jobs. The labor pool may be large but it is very shallow. I have jobs that pay from $25K to $200K and all that are available are dead heads and retreads.

BEST PRESIDENT EVER!!! LOL!!! I guess the only qualification necessary (Against Abortion) doesn't go very far when it comes to actually doing something. After all Bush spent over one full year at his ranch in these last almost 8 years.

Hey how come I haven't heard much from Coulter these days? Usually she's busy telling all the Libs how godless and whatever....they are. I guess she hasn't got much to cheer lead about.

Any company that has its product made in china, should be boycotted here..

If we are not good enough to make it--we should not buy it..

Our politicians represent mexico better than they do americans...
