Ms. Leamon and Jamie Leigh Jones, the other KBR employee who came forward with rape allegations against her colleagues recently, were both interviewed yesterday by Democracy Now:

I don't understand the big hype about this news. Thousands of innocent Iraqi women and girls have gone through this horror at the hands of US soldiers who are "defending" America. Who is talking about them, anyway.
At least this victim is alive and breathing. The Iraqi victims have either been shot to death or their house set on fire after the crime.

Don't forget that the only uncommon thing about this is that she's reported it and mentioned it to the media. Talk to any woman coming back from Iraq or Afganistan and they will tell you that one of their constant, top fears was being raped at night by one of their own 'brothers in arms' on the way to the toilet.
