Answer:
"Fars initially reported the explosion was caused by a home-made bomb.
Provincial Police Commander Ali Moaeyri later told Fars it "was not sabotage."
"Some live munitions may have been left behind at that location which could have been the cause of the explosion," Moaeyri said.
The police commander said the munitions were apparently left behind after a "Sacred Defense" exhibition was held at the mosque, which also serves as a cultural center."
At least we won't be seeing people attacking anyone over this, anymore (except for perhaps the stupidity of leaving live munitions sitting around like that).

Not enough information to place anyone at fault yet. Very strange though. Cheney wants war with Iran as does Bush.
Makes me wonder if maybe this could be a false flag op.

"Makes me wonder if maybe this could be a false flag op."
Maybe but the Iranian government is not universally loved by their own people. If we have any involvement in Iran it would be of "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight" variety. Bush and Cheney would find a way to strengthen the Mullahs and their turd of a President in an attempt to undermine them.

Iran has been sponsoring terrorism for so long, that it's inevitable that this scourge would eventually come home to roost.
I remember back when suicide bombings starting showing up in Israel (under the direction of the world's first arch-terrorist Arafat). Israel warned back then that this tactic would one day come back to haunt the Arab world, and that it would prove to be a bigger problem for them than for Israel. Prophetic words, as we have seen a proliferation of Arab suicide attacks against their fellow Muslims.

I wonder when Jihadists of the Keyboard are going to get on here and blame this on Israel, Jews, or Bush and Cheney? From what I've learned about them, a Muslim is a Muslim until he kills innocents in the name of Allah, then he never was a Muslim, but, an "evil Zionist" trying to make Islam look Satanic.

Zawahiri recently amended the Prophet's words:
"We haven't killed the innocents, not in Baghdad, nor in Morocco, nor in Algeria, nor anywhere else," he said, according to the transcript, in response to the question: "Excuse me, Zawahiri, but who is it who is killing with Your Excellency's blessing the innocents in Baghdad, Morocco, and Algeria?"
"If there is any innocent who was killed in the Mujahideen's operations, then it was either an unintentional error or out of necessity,..."

Thank GOD he said, "...do not poison the wells of your enemies." Do you READ that, O Jihadists of the Pen? Muhammad said, "Do NOT poison the wells of your enemies." Now, if they will just believe that, even though it doesn't seem to be in the Quran.

FTA: "The police commander said the munitions were apparently left behind after a "Sacred Defense" exhibition was held at the mosque, which also serves as a cultural center."
What morons.
"Nothing to worry about folks, just a little problem with some leftovers from a local militia's 'arts and crafts' fair. Happens all the time."
Doesn't everyone have bomb making classes in their local cultural center/church?

Well at this time I don't suspect the CIA or American involvement.(what do I know, I'm a chef) There is enough unrest in Iran among it's people that this is most likely an inside (Iran) job. I was reading a book a few years ago, I can't remember the title, that was about the emerging Muslim movements in the middle east and throughout the aria of the Indian ocean. This was written by a man who traveled through the aria just after the Islamic revolution in Iran. One of the things he said about Iran was at the time of the revolution there was a competing revolution by communists who wanted to take the country in that direction. Obviously the Islamics won.But perhaps they are involved?

Nah, it was an accident chef.
"An explosion in a southern Iranian mosque that killed 10 people and wounded 160 after evening prayers Saturday night was caused by negligent handling of live munitions, not a bomb as first suspected, Iranian media reported."
Good find though and grats on getting recommended.

Why are munitions being stored in a house of worship anyways?
Do Muslims have assign a different meaning to house of worship then "western" folks?
Are mosques more like community centers than churches?
No insult, I just don't understand.

"I can't help wandering why one must always have to spend part of the day thinking or influenced by things that happen so far away, countries, all of them, that have nothing to do with the west."
I'm pretty sure the war and deaths in Iraq have something to do with the West. That whole pre-emptive war thing.

A lot of what happens in the Middle East has to do with the "West." Our government, with the help of our "allies" has meddled around in the various ME regions since decades to protect our oil interests there. We've overthrown democratically elected leaders in the ME. The CIA trained Laden, Saddam & many others. Our government supports Israel in a conflict they have with their neighbors over land, resources & religious values; a conflict that's none of our business. Our government invaded Iraq, a country that was not involved in 9/11. And, as if Presidents like Reagan & Bush didn't do enough damage in the ME, we have an idiot like McCain who talks about Iran & says things he shouldn't.

this is indeed a very sad story. hous4s of worship should not be a place for munitions or bombings.
for a great book on peace and love and religion, see the Korana of Mother Goddess, available on LuLu dot com, Amazon and on ebay. my love, peace and blessings are with you today and with those who have suffered during this sad loss of life

Nah mark, this seems to have been an accident:
"An explosion in a southern Iranian mosque that killed 10 people and wounded 160 after evening prayers Saturday night was caused by negligent handling of live munitions, not a bomb as first suspected, Iranian media reported."
I'm guessing the story was updated after it was posted.

Seems to be that MOST mosques are bomb factories. Where the bombs in the making believe that if they can destroy themselves and take those out who don't believe the way they do, they can kind of explode again in their 72 virgins while those they destroyed have their skins burned off and replaced, daily, throughout eternity in hell.
