Reagan developed Alzheimer's after leaving office. You'd be more convincing if you could spell it. LOL

If you knew anything about Alzheimers, you would know it is progressive, beginning with small memory lapses, small delusions ( and Reagan was already old); long before the diagnosis is on the doctors desk.

It is the reason that by the end of his presidency he could no longer answer basic questions like 'who is the secretary of state' or 'what was that meeting about'.

I don't mock him for having it.

He didn't have it then. Unless you've conducted an exam on him, you can't say that. He sounded fine during his press conferences. Nice attempt at fabricating events.

Reagan could memorize speeches and deliver them, better than anyone; remember he was an actor for decades before politics.

          Wickepedia:

"former president disclosed in 1994 that he was afflicted with the degenerative brain disease."

He was president from 1981 to 1988; like I said, it is a progressive degeneration that begins years before being diagnosed.

Yeah, and he had six years since he left office. I'm starting to understand Robert Byrd now.

My theory is that Robert Byrd has been dead for 15 years and they prop up a life-size photo of him and play the same tired speeches.
