FTA:
After reiterating his regret for his choice of words, Obama turned the tables on Clinton â;; mocking, among other things, her sudden fealty to the rights of gun owners.
"She is running around talking about how this is an insult to sportsman, how she values the second amendment. She's talking like she's Annie Oakley," Obama said, invoking the famed female sharpshooter immortalized in the musical "Anne Get Your Gun."
LMAO! Good for Obama. Hillary has twisted everything he has said, ever since she found out he was an actual threat to what she thought was her entitlement.

They ALL twist each others words. Unfortunatly it is part of running for office. And they ALL throw each other under the bus when a questionable comment gets said.
The reality is that if Clinton had said the whole comment about people being "Bitter" that he would do the same thing that she is right now and the same for Mccain. Obama and Clinton would have latched onto it had Mccain said it.
Let's not act like one is better than the other in this respect because they all twist words to suit them.

I hope we never lose sight of the original expectation - the idea of her uncontested coronation - or how far the dark horse has come in just a few short moves.

He continued: "Hillary Clinton is out there like she's on the duck blind every Sunday. She's packing a six-shooter. Come on, she knows better. That's some politics being played by Hillary Clinton."
A six-shooter? WTF is he talking about? Does he think people hunt ducks with a six-shooter hand gun? Or does he think a Streetsweeper (which is outlawed in the USA) is used to hunt ducks?

Hillary behind a duck blind; frightening thought.
OBama talking about Hillary being like Annie Oakley; double frightening.
Those two and their penchant for making snide remarks and elitist digressions about middle class America and each other are going to destroy the Democratic party to the point it will be hard to resurrect it.... if at all.
Sometimes I wish that they would just shut up and go to their rooms for a well deserved time out.

Yes, it really hurts their chances of getting elected when they tell people what they think.
Stop it, my sides are hurting. This is absolutely hysterical. A democrat suggesting that the two frontrunners stop talking because everytime they open their mouths, it further hurts the chances of getting elected.
You can't make this stuff up...

That depends on how you define conservative. Even simple words like Liberal and Conservative have been twisted and turned into lies by Washington.
Here's a news flash for the ConMen. You don't build the biggest government in history and run up $10 trillion in debt by what I understand to be conservative values. My understanding of "conservative" doesn't include working for laws in Washington that reach into every area of people's lives, controlling their reproductive activity, family decisions about when to end life support, public funding of churches and of religious education, the Supreme Court overruling state constitutions and deciding Presidential elections, the Unitary Executive, etc. etc.
Before you run that vaunted word, CONSERVATIVE up the flag pole, let's consider what the ConMen have turned it into. Then we'll see who salutes.

First of all, B.O. did not turn any tables. All he did was try to spin his words to make it look like he is not an ignorant fool. He speaks about how he respects sportsmen and the Second Amendment, but fails to realize that the 2nd is not about sports. It is not about hunting. It is about the right to fight for your rights and liberties if need be. Which is exactly what our fore fathers did.
Obama, in his original statement, mentioned that since these people were bitter, they have turned to guns and God yet have turned away from immigration. FTR, I have yet to meet one American who is upset about immigration. We are upset over ILLEGAL immigrants. There is a huge difference there and B.O. does not want to talk about it because he does not want to disenfranchise any future voters. (The people he will grant amnesty to if elected)

No, actually I prefer honesty instead of liars who call decent politicians Marxist when they have NO earthly proof that such a charge is anything but another ConMan smear. By the way, DKAL, that was supposed to be a negative vote. My bad, and I hope Propeller soon adds the tools to correct such errors.

He then goes on to talk about Hillary. Which was very sad to watch. It was obvious that he was grasping at straws the second he started talking about her. Any salesman worth his salt is immediatly taught not to say the words "Come on". It shows that you are desperate and weak. Barack looked very desperate each time he said that phrase. Especially at the 5min marks when he starts to studder. Listen to how shaky his voice is. He is obviously lying. It is further proven by his anger at the 6:15 mark through the 7 minute mark and all the way to the end.

What's wrong with Obama's statement:
How can someone imply that people shouldn't "cling" to gun control and religion when they vote?
We have this thing called the Second Amendment that matters to many people. We also have this thing called freedom of religion which, I'm guessing, matters even more to even more people.
People letting two things GUARANTEED by the Constitution influence how they vote sounds like a good idea to me just, appaerently, not to Obama.

Scott,
What you defy is for anyone to convince you that Obama's words were wrong. We can tell you all day long what was wrong with Obama's words, but we cannot convince you our position is correct.
I am willing to let the good people of Pennsylvania address that just for you. As this writing (4/14 1 pm ET), Hillary has a 20-point lead in Pa.
All the absolution in the Vatican won't get Obama out of this one.

I can observe a great deal of fear from the Obama fanatics in the wake of current revelations. This candidate is the most far left possible to win the democrat nomination in history. He makes McGovern & Mondale seem reasonable.
I get a kick out of the idea that if you don't understand his explanation of his rural American gaff you must be simpleminded! Hear is a guy that picked the brain of Reverend Wright for decades denegrating the habits of the heartland in a swanky San Francisco lovefest of the Moveoner's &
Daily Kosters.

I really don't think so! If you would look at the article connected to this submission by Aidenag, you would see that in 1990, Bill Clinton said something very similar to what Obama said to the people of Ohio and Pa. Here is the link.

Maybe she has a 20 point lead but he is the champ of spending.
He's outspending her 3 to 1 in Pennsylvania, I wonder what his hardworking donators will think of his syrupy dialogue after the Pennsylvania massacre. Obama is slowly becoming the Mit Romney of the democratic party.

Hillary is the elitist one....spoon in her mouth all the way.
She could care less about the middle class. All she wants is to be in the Whitehouse and she has been bought & sold since the day she was born. Hey Hillary. What about all those people who have died under more than suspicious means, many of whom where body guards and advisers of yours and Bill's? What papers disappeared from Vince Foster's desk and what good did they have on you and Bill?

Barrack has had a "spoon in his mouth all the way" as well.
His BLACK father was a Harvard grad, something nobody in my white family has ever acheived. He and his wife have made over 200K a year since 2000 and 1.7 MILLION in 2007, somthing that would take me years of HARD work to do. (not that they didn't earn it)
He talks about trips to Pakistan in college, how many average Americans can claim that?
If you think he's anything BUT your typical spoon fed elitist, you've been fooled.

Obama's goof was not to have censored himself in regard to remarks that, even if not derogatory WERE condescending.
A no-no of a high order for a pol seeking office in a land of class resentment, if not class-consciousness.
Then again, the fact that O. allowed himself these comments undoubtedly salutes their innocence.

What's really unfortunate is that people have to be sooo careful about any little thing they say, lest the psychotic, self-important 'news media' get their hands on it. Media (left AND right) in America has gone from solid investigative journalism and well-reasoned commentary to the grubby-fingered parsing of minutiae into greasy, hyperbole-laden chum. Michelle Obama says she's finally proud of America, and now she's an 'America-hater'. Barack chooses not to wear a flag lapel pin, and he's 'anti-American'. Just when did lacquered metal (made in China) become the measure of patriotism? I must've missed that part from Civics.
McCain has GOT to be enjoying his time out of the fray, but make no mistake, once the Democratic nominee is chosen, he'll have his own swarm of slime-flies to bat away.

Keep in mind that the press has free reign in presidential politics. They called George Washington a traitor when he ran the second time.
Any one thing about Obama is not too big a deal. The problem is they are stacking up.
Refuses to wear a flag lapel pin
Razco connections
Michelle saying for the first time she is proud to be an American
Rev. Wrights sermons and refusal do disavow him as friend and mentor
Going to a racist church for 20 years.
Michelle saying that the US is a mean country
This comment about middle Americans in small towns
This is not a pretty picture. It keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I wonder what the campaign ads are gonna look like, if the current angle on Obama is that he's a racist and an elitist snob...
imagination time!
SCENE: Obama lookalike sitting at a long table in an overtly opulent and luxurious dining hall [portraits of black leaders on the wall] -slow zoom in.
He rambles some political stuff, looking out for the poor and those who can't look out for themselves, blah, blah blah...
Suddenly a very white butler enters the room and serves him some steaming fillet minion on a gleaming [special effects gleam and sparkle] sterling silver platter
the waiter, who looked a little nervous to begin with, knocks a fork to the floor which clatters nerve-rackingly
-dead silence-
Obama watches coldly as the waiter/butler scrambles to pick it up
Obama looks back at the camera and continues the political spiel
slow fade
*paid for by the people who brought you wolves at the door in 04*

Ani: "...Not everyone takes their guns to church. After June we can if we want to, but why are you so edgy?"
It makes little sense to argue with Ani in the hope that she'll reflect upon her own position, but really, for absurdist self-parody, the above takes the cake.
Yes, I for one am delighted that after June she and her congregation--located where? The Oklahoma Territory, circa 1890?--will be able to pack heat.
Woman, don't you see the madness of your gun culture? GUNS IN CHURCH?! I'm not a Christian, but I can confidently say that this isn't quite what Christ had in mind for his disciples.
Ani, dear, please put away the Uzi and do some real thinking. As it is, your fear--and that, apparently, of your neighbors--makes you fodder for exploitation by every demagogue on the block.

She's scared of everything, i guess a gun will make her feel more secure or safe, but i know one thing, i certainly wouldn't want to be the one who got in her way. Fear such as her's is dangerous.

You couldn't get into Barak Hussein's gated community. His wife wouldn't be proud of it regardless of how nice the neighborhood was. McCain would be the veteran who's newspaper, Obama would steal because he's entitled to it.
