There should be tuition available even when they are not wounded, and have completed their agreed tour.
The chance to get funding for education is one of the main reasons high school graduates joined.
The GI bill sent the previous generation to college, to America's benefit.
We do not dare short-shrift them now. We lose our honor. Also, they know how to hurt us.

I think war should be a very last resort but it seems to me that people who are willing to put their lives on the line for their country like that should be treated like royalty when it comes time to collect their benefits. None of this..."oh well...you may not have arms or hearing but you have two toes remaining on your remaining foot, so you don't qualify for disability. Sorry. Thanks for applying" horsecrap they have to go through now.
