pyderi your right on the money son...
This is Pharmaceutical Propaganda at it's finest.
Most of these so-called studies use synthetic vitamins that aren't worth a darn and they know it. Of course they are going to promote death and illness, they are "synthetic", not real and not natural. I thought the recent anti-natural supplements propaganda report that came out yesterday was a joke. Every one knows that vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants will definitely help our health, they just can't be patented for profits and are attacked daily by organizations I won't dare mention.
Feel any type of sickness coming on, add more vitamin c to your daily regimen. It works every time for me. I take 4-7 grams daily then taper off to 1-2 grams daily. I also take immune system support products and natural supplements like olive leaf and antioxidants, the most powerful on the web at http://www.NaturalNooks.com . Gosh, I really hope people don't believe this stuff, propaganda, that is.

Some vitamins ARE toxic at high doses, others are not. People who wish to take high doses of vitamins should have some knowledge of possible side effects to look out for.
Some specific examples:
The toxic effects of high dose vitamin A (synthetic or natural)have been well established for decades.
High dose niacin, which is used by some to increase HDL-cholesterol (good cholesterol) levels also has well documented undesirable side effects in many patients.
High dose folate, often prescribed for women who have had a child with a neural tube defect and may become pregnant again may be dangerous by masking macrocytic anemia.
