Right now Cnn is showing Hillary with a 8pt lead, which is well below the margin she needed to claim any sort of a comeback. All this does for her, is delay her losing a bit longer. She needed 10pt's just to say she is a viable candidate, and 15-20pt's to say she still has a shot at becoming President. My guess, is that we are going to start seeing a lot more pundits, superdelegates, and democratic party members calling for her to throw in the towel now due to the fact she could win every state left with this same margin, and still lose to Obama...

Hi Tim! I guess the network news folks are getting faster feeds than the PA Dept of State site that truthi has below...it's still showing less than 50% returns counted and the margin narrowed.
Guess it ain't over til it's over? :)

ALPHA:
"Ten points now!"
And that translates to Hillary Clinton picking up a whopping 6 more delegates than Obama, as if that's going to put a huge dent in Obama's lead. Even as it stands now, Hillary receives an estimated 52 PA delegates and Obama receives an estimated 46 delegates.
Big deal.

What does LURCH's comment have to do with hypocrisy?
And what does ALPHA's gender have to do with the gist of LURCH's comment?

TANG:
"Read Lurch's comment again smart guy."
I'll say it again. What does LURCH's comment have to do with "hypocrisy"?
TANG:
"Oh, and also, 10% equals a whopping 9 delegates. It was 66 to 57."
WRONG.
1) At the time I posted my reply (according to the time-stamp), CNN had projected a 6-delegate difference. That's why I prefaced my comment with the words "Even as it stands now..."
2) The difference in delegates won is NOT finalized. The final delegate count won't be known for a while longer.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080423/ap_on_el_pr...
"The final delegate count was delayed because many of Pennsylvania's counties are split into multiple congressional districts. Pennsylvania awards delegates according to the statewide vote as well as the vote in individual congressional districts."
It's time for you to get your facts straight.

It was a "projection," NOT the final delegate tally. The final delegate tally won't be known for days, which makes your figure WRONG.
I don't know why this is so difficult for you to comprehend. It is not a tricky concept. Perhaps you should look up the word "projection" in a dictionary. Obviously, English is not your forte.

The Dems will force the superdelegates to vote before the convention. Too bad. I'd like to see a good, old-fashioned brokered convention, maybe even with Gore getting drafted.
And forget Hillary and Obama forming a Dream Ticket. Being on the same ticket is their worst nightmare.

The problem isn`t that Obama is some mystery, Clinton and the Republican have already spent in the eight figures trying to investigate every aspect of his life. How many candidates have been attacked over an essay they wrote when they were five??
As an Obama supporter, I would be ashamed if Obama attacked Hillary or McCain for something they wrote when they were five. Or how about attacking some colleague who did something terrible when the candidate was EIGHT?
No, the problem is not any unknown about Obama, the Republican problem is everything known about McCain. There`s no way to rewrite that history and those votes and the last decade of flip-flops. Better get your best smears ready cons!

I am incline to doubt that but at this point I have to take your word for it (white male). However, if Obama had a 33% it's not points either it's % lead and Hill Knocked it down to 10 would you be in here praising his win, from what I have seen I think not! All we would have heard of is how she cut his 33% lead by 23 points. 23 points, that my friend is BIG! And as the other poster said money well spent! No9w kick her ass in Indy and call it a day!

The latest North Carolina RCP average has Obama up 15.5% if Clinton finishes behind by 3 to 5% I doubt you would consider it a Clinton win. Money well spent, get real!
Obama spending people like your hard earned contributions like a drunken sailor to no avail, has to irked you. And he's not finished making poor financial decisions like he did in Pennsylvania where he got wiped out!

I'm not referring to his Ivy League education or his professional credentials. but rather what has he done-? not a very impressive legislative record, oh yeah he didn't vote to send troops to Iraq, but I may be mistaken but I believe he was absent during crucial voting. & who are his advisors?

He wasn't absent during crucial voting he wasn't in the congress when they voted on the war, and if you go to the library of congress you will see that he has voted over 5000 times since being in office, and has had a handful of very important bills passed, one of which was (a better healthcare for our injured veterans and making sure that their medical facilities were in better shape than the way it was when he entered office), he did this with a Republican congress and with the help of that congress. However, he is on record as saying he was against the war before we went to war. As for his record try looking further than the tip of your nose, he has been a public servant for over 20 years, longer than bush. Speaking of Bush what was he GOV of one the most corrupt state ran government in the nation before we elected him.

To discount his education is convenient on your part. If he went to a state college that would be all you want to talk about (not that state colleges are bad schools).
That aside if you are true about voting for the best person for this job listen to the man, take the time out and do some research instead of flying by the seat of your pants If that is not enough qualification then I don't know what is. Are you saying he would have to run the country beâ;¦if you weren't flying by the seat of your pants you would have known that this man has been in public service one elected or appointed position for 20 years. How much more experience do you need. If you are worried about a black man being able to run the country then let me educate you American Express, Merrill Lynch, Time Warner-AOL, you may not know this, these are very big American institutions that has been ran by black men for over the last 10 to 20 years.

Blacks are only incapable in the minds of those who wouldn't give them the chance to be so. There is a brain in this man's head that is way better than both of his opponents and most previous presidents including and far and away better than the current president. fore he can be qualified to run the country., Because that would be a little tricky but that is your intent isn't it Ace?

If I may add to your excellent reply: Obama has been called an 'elitist', yet despite being able to work in any law firm he chose (which is a distinction that is given Presidents of the Harvard Law Review), he chose to work for the civil rights of people, rolled up his sleeves, and made a difference. He has a better working knowledge of the Constitution than most in WA, & was a Constitutional scholar at the U. of Chicago for a decade. He majored in Political Science, with his specialty in Foreign Affairs at Colombia University. And he has shown an exceptional ability at negotiating, something we desperately need going forward in our Foreign Affairs which are now in shambles.

exactly. we have two tough opponents, duking it out. the dems have yet to trun their sights on McCain, but when they do we'll be hearing planty about McCain breaking his own FEC laws, his connection to Abramoff, his lack of knowledge about the economy, his massive flip flops, etc.
as far as the dem fight goes, good or bad, right or wrong, hillary's not just going to lay down and give up. she's a clinton. that's why the clintons are 7-0 vs. the GOP. they're tough. last night she barely won by enough to keep her alive.
all the obama fans knew this fight wasn't going to end here. cause it ain't like he's running against some sap like fred thompson.

A win is A Win (one vote,,,, why does she have to win by 10% or as they have been saying for weeks, 'it's all over".
It will be over when Bill says 'honey we fought a good fight but it's over" and not a second sooner, no matter how badly the Obamaites want her to quit. It still goes back to the lack of ability for Obama to give the knock out punch.
