Posted By ybdogsct 1 year, 8 months ago in NewsA possible witness in the federal trial against Antoin "Tony" Rezko would testify that Karl Rove was involved in discussions to remove U.S. attorney Patrick Fitzgerald from the case. "A government witness claims political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko discussed efforts among high-ranking Republicans, including Karl Rove and Republican national committeeman Robert Kjellander, to have Chicago's U.S. attorney fired. Mr. Rezko's explanation, according to Mr. Ata, is that Mr. Kjellander is working with Mr. Rove to have Mr. Fitzgerald removed so that someone else can come in to the U.S. attorney's office and individuals who have been cooperating in this investigation with be dealt with differently.
Since coming to Chicago, the New Yorker has sent former Gov. George Ryan (R-IL) and a number of other politicians to federal prison on corruption charges."

First I'm not a fan of Obama, not voting for him so I have no bias towards him.
Remember all the heat that Sen. Obama has taken over Rezko and the attempts to smear Obama through association?
Not only is Karl Rove linked to Rezko, but so is Bush. "So it was some surprise when a witness today asserted that Rezko had attended a 2003 holiday reception at the White House."
Imagine that if we hold Obama responsible for being in the same room as Rezko we also should hold GWB to the same standard.
Not only that, but Rezko also donated to the Bush campaign in 2004. Has Bush returned that money like Obama did?
Why doesn't the so-called Librul Media feed on Bush like they have fed on Obama?
The answer is obvious so I won't bore you.

The answer is because feeding on Bush now does nothing. It doesn't sell papers. He's a lame duck. It's not impeachable, the man cannot be besmirched anymore.
And I don't think the liberal media fed on Obama, the moderate and conservative media did yes...but not the overwhelming majority of liberal media.
Rezko has not been a reoccurring topic on NPR, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, LA Times, NY Times, or CNN. It has been a story on Fox News, Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, and Human Events.

Rezko wanted to be able to have access to ANYONE in power.
That's why he tried to cozy up to Obama, why he attended Bush fundraisers, why he had this picture taken,
http://www.nationalledger.com/artman/uploads/hi...
and why he's also been connected with both Democrats and Republicans in Illinois.
Just because Rezko WANTS to do people favors doesn't mean he does, and it doesn't mean those people are beholden to him.
