ALPHAGNOSIS:
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/01/16/...
"McCain supports amnesty for illegal aliens, was behind the Gang of 14, is a gun grabber, opposed the Bush tax cuts, ran roughshod over the Constitution with McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform, opposes a Constitutional amendment to protect marriage, was rumored to be considering switching parties multiple times, talked with John Kerry about being his VP, lines up with the global warming alarmists, wants to close Gitmo, wants to coddle captured terrorists."

"You can feel secure in voting FOR Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney."

"I predict that McCain will lose a few points after his loss Tues. night and Fred will gain a few more."

ALPHAGNOSIS AGAIN:
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/01/16/...
"In other words, we're talking about a man who could fairly be called a Rockefeller Republican, a Country Club Republican, a RINO, or just a toweringly arrogant, out of touch D.C. insider who seems to assume that any position he takes is right solely because he happens to hold it. However, what John McCain cannot fairly be called is a conservative.
If John McCain becomes the Republican Party's nominee, you have to think conservatives will become utterly despondent."
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/01/16/...
"Or how about McLame? "
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/01/14/...
"By any reasonable definition, McCain's recipe constitutes amnesty. It allows nearly all illegal aliens to remain permanently in America."

You're so right on with this, and to be completely honest with you, i couldn't believe how the people on Propeller flipped around so fast in order to justify McCain, just the way Santorum has.
My self formed opinion is, they will vote for anyone as long as there is an R beside their name rather than cross a party line. I know a lot of cons, and crossing a party line is NOT an option.

Well, to be fair not2needy, we Christian Cosnervatives dont see politics as an option.
Its our religion.
In our hierarchy of Sainted Ones, Ronald Reagan represents the second comin of Christ.
Ronnie is responsible for the sunshine and the song birds!! TWEET TWEET!
Goerge W. Bush is liek our Martin Luther, represents the official break from spirituality to gettin our minds right bout politics.
McCain is a tough one. We positioned him as a Judas for bout 8 years or so. But lately, hes been recantin at the alter of 'gettin his mind right.
So we Christian Cosnervatives, bein a forgivin kind are considerin bringin Johnny back into the fold.

N2N the cons hate change. It is the essence of all conservative thought- no change. Keep established social orders, institutions, and organizations.
They are a lock-step group and they want everyone to march to their masters orders. Progressives are the opposite. They question the ways of the past, never seem to be marching in lock step, as the only things they have in common is a high regard for individual rights, social justice, and personal freedom. Progressives tend to look for new solutions to problems rather than rely on the past methods. Santorum is among the nations leading imbeciles.

MORE ALPHAGNOSIS:

"Hey did yall hear this? lol, too funny:
McCain 'is the classic opportunist--he's always reaching for attention. Other POWs won't even sit at the same table with him.
Perot's real problem with McCain is that he believes the senator hushed up evidence that live POWs were left behind in Vietnam and transferred to the Soviet Union for human experimentation. Perot claims, 'McCain was adamant about shutting down anything to do with recovering POWs.'
lmao, Perot is swiftboating John McCain."

"McCain has one of the worst grades of any Republican Senator concerning immigration. His overall career and recent Americans for Better Immigration grades are both Ds. On amnesty, he earns F. His congressional record on immigration ABI calls "abysmal."

One thing you gotta be clear bout AlphaGnosis, she consistently picks the rong candidate.
First it was Giuliani. (Actually, first it was GW from when she called herself luvmyprez).
Then it was Thompson.
Then it was Romney. ...
Now, of course, its yet another loser ... our Johnny McCain. Or as aniokeley used to call him ... the traitor. (nice, eh)
All these air-balls from her is why I started to callin her OMEGA-Gnosis. I dint think she could, in good conscience have her avatar reference FIRST-knowledge.

"McCain's baggage: To assuage his guilt over the "Keating 5" scandal, the unconstitutional McCain-Feingold bill was proposed and is now law.
And then there was the infamous Gang of 14 to prevent the Senate from reversing the unconstitutional practice (rule) of requiring 60 votes for approval of court nominees.
Oh, and the hundreds of appearances on the Sunday TV shows trashing fellow Republicans, not voting for Bush's tax cuts, and the most egregious of all, the arrogance of trying to ram a back room immigration/amnesty deal down our throats.
A President McCain would sign any immigration bill the Democrat Congress passes, regardless of what he says in the campaign."
