There are many, many billions in public and private funds being spent globally on all of the projects mentioned in the article.
We should be building nuclear plants. Wind, solar, biofuels etc. are never going to supply enough energy for highly industrialized countries.

I challenge you to back up your claims that the proposed studies are "junk Science".
I will support my proposition that MUCH more knowledge about global weather is needed by referring you to two articles published last week in the premier scientific journal Nature. These articles describe international efforts to understand 1) the Greenland Ice shelf and 2)the rapid melting of glaciers.
